Course Curriculum Overview
I can't really rate the course as we're the first batch for 4 year ug. But from my perspective, the major minor and the multidisciplinary course are really helpful. You can tailor your degree by yourself. The overall syllabus is small and very easy to learn as it's only about 20% of what the seniors have to learn
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees that I've paid is around 7k and I'm a state merit student. The fees depend on how you get admission i.e. management seats cost about 60k and community seats cost around 7, 8k. The major scholarship is egrantz and there are numerous different scholarships you can apply for if you're eligible.
Campus Life
There's nss, ncc, woman cell etc in smc. Ncc and nss are one of the best in the district and their certificates are really helpful for future interviews and stuff and more than that they help in character development
Admission
The application process was through Kerala cap. The allotment is based on your 12th marks. There are a total of 3 allotments and 3, 4 supplementary ones and a final spot admission. Other than that there are community allotment and management seats.
Faculty
Our strength is 12 and the teachers in the department is 4. They're qualified teachers and it shows. They clear our doubts and are very calm about it. The lab facility is also big and spacious. they are good
