Course Curriculum Overview

Pharmacy is a very classical profession for people. We are the pharmacist where doctor sends you after diagnosis. After completing pharmacy you can easily earn upto 40k per month. And if you are a good student then you will get a minimum package of 30LPA.

Class Size: 1000Course Fees: INR 56000 per year

Internships Opportunities

You will get internship opportunity from different pharma company like alkem,gluconate,dr. Sain,cipla, sun pharma, MacLeod etc. and the hospital internship you can get from every gov. Hospital after 1mnth training.

Placement Experience

Placement are not so good but I can confirm you that if you are good in studies then you will have a min package of 50LPA .Every pharma companies in india or out india contains our alumnis as well as you will get a polite and respectful behaviour in every company after knowing you r passed out from Iopj .

Fees and Financial Aid

As it is a government college it only approves government scholarships. And the fees structure are minimal with 58k only which contains 12k per year and 1k per semester as examination fee. Many have got SVMC and many more scholarships

Campus Life

The overall experience of the campus experience is marvellous. It's one of the golden era in your life which lasts only for 4yrs and 2yrs for diploma. The environment of Jalpaiguri is seriously soothing which is enough to fall in love with jalpaiguri for every youngsters.

Admission

The cut off of this college is hardly upto 7k rank in PMR. there are 60 seats for bachelor degree and 60 seats for diploma degree excluding the lateral entry candidate's seats. It is one and only gov Pharmacy college in west bengal.

Faculty

Every professor of iopj are holding a minimum degree of phd in pharmacy. There are many professor's who are google scholars. They will help you in every ups and downs just you have to build a freindly bond with them.

Pharmacy life in AMC INSTITUTE OF PHARMACY

Course Curriculum Overview:

B pharm course is a professional course. And the some medical college in which I am studying is a recognised Government College which is very good for a b pharm student. It's your to final exam is conducted one is for the first semester 3rd semester and fifth semester and 7 semester which is conducted in February or March and the second examination is conducted for second semester 4th semester 6 semester and 8 semester which is conducted in August or September where is depending on the decision of the PC

Beside them Mainly Production companies like Macloids, Sun Pharma etc also conducts interview for their production units every year. Interviews are arranged for 4th year students only. My plan is to continue my higher studies.

This is the oldest Pharmacy college in India

Remarks:

The college is a good college it is situated beside the district hospital and there is morgue beside it. So students will se many dead bodies been taken. This may be problem for weak heart students. But I thing for a pharmacists he/she should be able to see dead bodies.

Remarks:

Institute of Pharmacy, Jalpaiguri is the 1st Pharmacy college in Asia. This is the only one government college in West Bengal. Labs infrastructure is very poor. 100% Placement are done. Our college is very good Pharmacy college in India.

By WBJEE or AIEEE exam you have got a rank for admission in this college.There are 3 concealing process by the wbjee rank card. Then you have to varify your document in reporting centre , after that you go to the college for the admission.
