Course Curriculum Overview
i am an information technology student and i had a lot of intrest in coding and the curriculum is good at the college. they make us ready for the placement and interviews by having a lecture called pcs which is a personal devlopment course. teaching methods is also nice and timing of exams and timing of everything is good
Internships Opportunities
internships are available from many companies. thier are many comapines which visited our college for example jp morgan, intl, tcs, incred. in total thier were 237 comapines which have visted our college up till now.
Placement Experience
top compines visit our college and last year highest placement was 50 lpa average package is 10 to 15 lpa 80 percent of students are getting placements as of now students having good skills can have a higher package it totally depends on how much skills you have my plans after getting the degree is to do one job and to do masters in india itself.
Fees and Financial Aid
fees is on a higher side but i took this college decision becuase of the reputation of which the college holds and also the faculty. my total cost of education is 20 lakhs in total schorships are present for the people who comes from a family of income less than 8lpa and also have a sports scholarship. they also provide financial aid for specific students. they also have a anitragging form which proviedes no ragging in the college.
Campus Life
we have a techinal fest named abhiyantriki, culutral fest named as symphony and many small small festivals happening everyday. paravah for womens day encourages woman. all the books needed are available in the library. technologies are very up to date. somaiya is known for sports majorily. their are many clubs available around the campus wheater it be data science, technical stuff, singing, dancing, and many more.
Admission
exams such as jee mhtcet sat peracet or svuet can allow you to take admission in this college. you can apply through the somaiya website. gujrati reservation is available difficulty level is on average side admission process is very smooth
Faculty
faculty helps us a lot and gives us one to one interaction whenever needed. they talk to us on personal level too and we can clear our doubt whenver needed. teachers who are qualified as phd also helps us in whatever doubt we have. their are many teachers from iim and iit and they have a good expeirence.
