Likes

The indoor sports complex which helps us to relieve from stress
I also like the university library for providing wifi to go through the existing journal papers ( helping us with ideas for projects)

Dislikes

We want more food varieties which are healthy in the canteen
Washroom should be maintained with hygiene

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm studying in integrated course which is for 5 years (includes BTech+MTech). This curriculum offers only a particular subject of knowledge for MTech. The subject is set by the HOD and faculty members. Every semester is of 5 months where in one month goes on with lab internals, lab externals, mid examinations and end semester examination.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Mostly computer science students are likely to join in internship opportunities due to their coding skills. Core students also have opportunities by few companies and we can also try to get internship out of the campus by our own interests.

Placement Experience

There are many placement opportunities in our college mainly in IT field. We also have core placements with good package of 12 LPA in an average. The software placements includes companies like Oracle, TCS, etc. And the core include honey well, L&T, Ashok Leyland, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

I've seen that many of my friends from other universities opted courses which is similar to mine. But this course in our college is quite affordable. Few of the students have scholarship. There is also special fee of 2500rs every year.

Campus Life

Coming to the campus life we have many celebrations like freshers, college fest, traditional day every year. As per the fest you can check in YouTube by typing JNTUH and a particular branch. We also have many clubs for dancing, singing/ musical instruments, gardening, coding, block chain management, photography, literature, sports, etc.

Admission

The eligibility for this course in our college is 10+2/ diploma. Intermediate students (MPC) take EAMCET exam and diploma students take E-CET exam. Based on the rank obtained the college is to be selected through counselling process followed by certificate verification and allotment , joining report. I took admission through EAMCET in which I obtained a rank of 5 thousand. This exam is conducted every year in the month of May.

Faculty

The faculty in our college/University are very well experienced. And also give great insite about existing practical world and technology. This helps us to show interest towards the domain we opt to learn.

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Placement Experience:

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.
