Likes

Faculty's experience and commitment towards teaching
Our college has a incubation center which is very useful to students
We have a very big campus with and new sports conplex and two auditoriums

Dislikes

The food facilities is not so good in the canteen
Hostel food is also better than outside hostels but can inprove
They should construct more hostel's in campus

Course Curriculum Overview

Why i choose this course is ad per my research in up coming years we can see boom in semiconductor industry which is a crucial part in ECE. So if we take this course we will have a better opportunity in future rather than taking CSE

Placement Experience

We have a decent placement opportunity in our college compared to private colleges why because they bring companies to their colleges by giving them money . Even if the students not placed from our college then they will have a decent employment opportunity of they have subject knowledge

Fees and Financial Aid

Normal fee for general category is 100000 for 5 years course and 50000 for 4 years course . And there will be scholarship for many students according to their cast. Like for sc and st students the fee is nil and for other castes the fee is 10000 only.

Campus Life

I am very much satisfied with my college life as i can participate in different organizations and events and get as much as knowledge i can . And i can socialize with many people here from other countries as well and made many contacts which can help me in the future

Hostel Facilities

We have a decent hostel facilities in our college we currently have three hostels for boys and 4 hostels for 4 girls hostels and many more new are under construction with new facilities. And menu is quite diverse and we can also modify the menu according to our need . And the fee for yearly is around 35 thousand

Hostel Fee: INR 36000 per year

Admission

Why i choose jntu is that as everyone know that jntuh is the top college in telangana after iit hyderabad and nit warangal. The admission process of our college is through eamcet examination ( the name exam is changed to tcet recently) and the counselling process will be followed

Faculty

The students to teachers ratio is about 20 to 1 which is exceptionally good compared to other colleges. And also they teach very good and passionately. Also they help us in completing project's by giving guidance

Night Life

Yeah we have a very good night life in our college why because we don't have any restrictions in our college in the night as compared to other colleges we can go out at any time in the night and come at any time. And we also have a good gym ,cafeteria and library

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is not the best i would say There are many flaws in it Although the say the syllabus keeps changing but the changes are not that much The teaching method is also old school methods U can expect an exam every 1.5 months The difficulty is also high

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Placement Experience:

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.
