For a long time I have decided to pursue geography in future for higher studies. If someone is interested in map making or mapping, gis and remote sensing it's absolutely great to pursue this course. Since it's mostly dips to theory more it's should be more practical and digitalized. The examination takes place every 6 months.

There are many companies which comes for internships to pursue students for their work. They provide work for individual students like data collection and trains them with introduction new skills. Most internships are stripened free and are not paid intership .

From 6th semester students are eligible for placement. There are many companies which visit to acquire students from different departments depending on their skills and marks. They offer around 10000 . Around 2 to 3 percent gets the placement. I have planned to give UGC NET and to opt for masters .

The tuition fees doesn't increase that' much may be 1 or 2 percent per year . The course may cost from 60000 to 700000 . Along with other exam fees charges. The college provides placement as well as interships for students.

The college conducts every seasonal , cultural and religious festivals and occasions. All the books are available in the college website to check which is required then they can access it from their library. Every classroom has projectors and computers ,labs for science based subjects. The college holds annual sports every year along with intra state college compititions . The student volunteers to join social groups if it impacts their studies they leave it .

The student must have acquired 60 percent in 10+2 standard. The application form is available in the college website. There is no application fees. The application is given out in July . There is 10 percent reservation for OBC SC and ST. The semester exams takes place every 6 months along with internal exams every 2 months. The exams are moderate in difficulty level. The forms should be available in the West Bengal government college admission portal.

The faculty helps students with all its requirements and tries their best to provide the best . The teachers are enthusiastic about teaching and provide the best teachings. They take individual care for each student's and help to clear doubts.
