Course Curriculum Overview

4

During the first year , mostly the common subjects will be taught but the students will be feeded with the knowledge about the course they have chosen by the mode of lectures and seminars. The actual course curriculum will be taught from second year until which the students are made to acknowledge the basics of engineering. The subjects are quite tough but are made easily understandable by the faculties by frequent seminars and good explanations. The course VLSI has a good scope in the field of semiconductors. This college can be opted to receive the best teaching and faculty benefits

Placement Experience

4

Students become eligible for placements from their 3rd year. Many top companies have come for placement in the past years and many students have been selected. The highest pack offered was 18 lakhs and average package was 8 to 10 lakhs. Top companies like Infosys , Wipro , Intel etc visit the college for placements. My plan after degree is to get selected in the campus interview and work for any top companies, gain knowledge about the job and start my own buisness.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for courses in the college is quite cheap compared to other colleges. This college is mainly focused on the students who are from a below average and average family background, knowing the constraints they face for paying the fee. The students who are selected through counselling will have scholarships which will have their fees amount reduced. For management, for the VLSI course it costed us 1lakh per year which covers the book fees , the exam fee has to be paid seperately , for counselling students the fee is 75000 per yr and this varies for different courses. The college provided with placement training from 2nd yr of college and send the students for placement interviews in 3rd year. The students are also provided with benefits such as pursuing PG while working in the college.

Campus Life

3

The college doesn't actually conduct grand events like other universities instead they like to hold the events simple . But symposiums and tech fest are often conducted by the students of different branches where other college students can join. There are different club activites like short flim club , vocal club , dance club , entrepreneurship club , presentation club etc where students enroll themselves . But the club activities aren't being conducted often and only be conducted 2 time in a semester. The classroom facilities can be improved, the projector can be updated and the benched in class can be properly refurbished. In the first year , the students who have a sports background or excile in other extra curricular activities are offered with participation in sports and cultural events within and outside the college. Overall the student life inside the college is good.

Admission

The admission process was quite smooth as I got my seat through management quota . There wasn't any donation for the college and simply the fee was asked to be paid. The faculties helped a lot during the admission process. To get admission , the members responsible for it will direct you to the office room where the application form will be provided. You'll have to carry your certificates and passport size photo for fast processing of your admission. According to my experience i didn't find any issue with the admission process as it only took us around 30 mins for the whole process including fee payment which was online.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty members here are all very experienced and have a minimum of 10yrs experience in teaching field. Every faculty are PhD holders and are the best to draw output from the students. Each and every professors have their unique way of teaching and making the student understand topics and on the other hand they are so friendly and can us comfortable with whatever we want to convey them. This is an advantage for the students who don't open up much as the faculty can help them raise their voice.

The specific aspect which is great future on IT Field of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course. The curriculum prepared me to solve tough real-world logical aptitude test and coding test. The course curriculum is only based on the theory in several areas. My suggestion is to improve that too in practical manner for better real-world understanding. The frequency and the timing of my exams along with my perspective on the difficulty level is 2hrs.
