Faculty of architecture has a reputation of successful placement since last 10 years it has also secured a rank of 8th among all the top 10 architecture colleges in India. The faculty here have a lot of experience in a practical field, they guide you really well and develops a person personality as a whole

the course curriculum is not to good as it focuses more on how much marks a student get rather than how well a student is capable of designing a building, this creates a competition with time which forces a student to focus on the checklist and complete all the task fast rather than focusing on the quality of a model

In 5th year college provides you with an internship at which you have to work a lot if you are aiming to get paid else you have work for free

Our faculty of architecture, in general, have no placement cell but rather it provides contact with its alumni and some famous firms for a head start in the real world of architecture. Also dure 5th year it provides a student with an architecture firm at which student can later continue his/her fulltime job

Faculty of architecture is the only college in Manipal University which celebrates all the festival despite the fact it is western or India festivals celebrated are- 1. Diwali, 2. holi, 3. Halloween, 4. dusshera, 5. Durga Puja, 6. Onam, 7. Opus ( It is like annual festival dor Faculty of architecture)

A fee is the main problem over here, it is highly expensive compared to the type of classroom and condition of furniture you get. a fee is 3.5 lakh per annum compared to that class is non A.C a furniture are almost worn out and need immediate repair.

Faculty of architecture does not avail in a type of scholarship but it does provide with a loan facility for students for which you have to talk with the main office and undergo a series of process

campus life is really chill, they got a lot of structure built inside the campus to spend time at. there is approx 50:50 of girls and boys. There are a lot of other extracurricular activities like SIEGE in which you can just show your talent like playing computer games, cricket, marchpast etc.

The hostel is really good and is provided by the main Manipal university and not by the faculty of architecture. During the first year of stay in a hostel, it is compulsory for a student to eat from food court which tastes terrible compared to the mess food around the campus which student can choose after 1sr year.

College keeps these alumni meet every year who come to an interact with present students and they also provide students with the opportunity of exposure to the real world.

Architecture doesn't have hectic exams but it has a lot of tiring assignment dor which sometimes you have to wake up several nights in order to get a good grade. All the exam weightage are very less compared to the assignments given in the studio class.

Faculty of architecture takes both the class 12 and nata marks into consideration and add 50 percent of both to get the final marks. After 12th marks first, a person has to give NATA which a person has to clear with a minimum of 90 marks in order to clear the exam, after clearing the exam person will give his/her name in the college and will provide the necessary detail which college want to take you in.

Faculty of architecture are very skilled and are also very nice to a student, all the faculty have more than 10 years of practical experience and they keep supporting the student by encouraging them to focus on the quality of design rather than quantity of work finished
