Remarks

The only bad remark I have on the college is the communication gap between boys and girls .

Entrance Preview

Cleared EAMCET exam with 6000 rank. The reason behind choosing this college is that this college is one among the top ten colleges of telangana with 90 % placement opportunity.

Internships Opportunities

I did my internship on inter bank connectivity on java platform. My college do not provide any stipend for internships . During placements these internships can give the much needed support to clear the interviews .

Placement Experience

Around 60-65 companies had conducted their placements in our college and 90% students got placed. The packages offered were Rs 2.7 to 3.5 lakhs per annum.

College Events

The college conducts many curricular and cultural events every year. Out of these robotics and pulse are biggest events. Robotics stands for technically interested students to drive out their knowledge on electronics ,whereas pulse is for students who are interested in cultural activities .

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure was designed as per the state government guidelines which was around 24000 per year. Apart from the college fees there were some additional fees like library ,lab,transportation fees etc which was around Rs 5000 each year.

Fees and Financial Aid

College provides fees estimation letter which is necessary to get an education loan. I had availed an education loan showing the Same estimation letter .

Campus Life

College conducts many extracurricular activities every year and supports each and every student to participate actively . During my college days I had witnessed many students who participated in robotics and got selected for national level robotics completion .

Alumni/Alumna

As the timings are different for each year student ,I used to get very little time to interact with my seniors in the college . But I learned a lot from them . They really supported me a lot in every positive way they can ,be it sports ,projects,extra curricular activities etc.

Exam Structure

The exam and labs are conducts strictly under the university guidelines and were never seemed to be hectic for me.

The curriculum is not the best i would say There are many flaws in it Although the say the syllabus keeps changing but the changes are not that much The teaching method is also old school methods U can expect an exam every 1.5 months The difficulty is also high

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Placement Experience:

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.
