One of the best things in the college are societies as they provide you a lot of opportunities for self development
Regular seminars and events are organised by teachers and students which provide exposure to the talented students in the college
Teaching staff is well trained and cooperative. Their understanding of the concepts is very well and they try their best to pass it on to the students as well

Dislikes

Infrastructure of the building needs a lot of fixes . This college has two buildings one is old building and other is new building. New building specially needs a lot of fixes and development
No placement cell in the college and there are no placements in the college as far my knowledge is concern. I've not seen any placements goin on in the college

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is good and is designed for the modern world but the course doesn't provide much value. For some students this course is just waste of money and for some who can utilize it are happy with it. Teaching method is good but there's a more need of practical learning than the bookish knowledge. Exams happened at the end of each semester and are taken on time every year.

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 14000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

As of my course (BSc physical science with chemistry) fees for the first year was around 13k INR but on the second year there was a hike in the fee of 1500 so for the second year it was 14500 INR. There are fee hikes goin on at the end of each year which is not appreciable. There a fee relaxation provided by the college to the students whose parents has less than 2lakh per year salary. There's no campus employment and there's no placement in the college. Some organizations provide internships.

Campus Life

Overall campus experience is decent in the college and there are events goin in every week and seminars which really help students to develop themselves and provide an exposure to them. Annual cultural fest "Shradha Tarang" happens in march-April every year . Students from different colleges join the fest. There are societies in the college who organize this annual fest. Societies are one of the best things in the college according to me.

Admission

You should have taken Math's, Chemistry and Physics in 12th for this course and You have to give CUET UG exam, the cut off goes high as 93-94 in CUET. There are discussion groups as well you can ask your queries there. Exams happen at the end of each semester ad difficulty of exams is not that hard, they can be cleared easily. Admission process is not that difficult, you just get admission through CSAS portal.

Faculty

Faculty is good and well trained. Teachers are always there to help you resolve your queries and doubts. Some teachers are favorite of every student as their method of teaching is one of the best. Being from the science department lab teachers are good as well and the teachers in the department are appreciably good at teaching.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of Hansraj College is quite active. You are eligible to sit for campus placement offers from 5th semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, capgemini arw frequent recruiters for several posts and positions. The highest offered package is somewhere around 22000 with the average being at 700000-800000. Not all students get placed on campus, however thr hands on training and learning makes you industry ready, making you eligible amd worthy to apply for off campus placement opportunities. Many students prefer not to sit for campus placements and rather opt for higher studies after graduation. I plan to do the same after getting my undergraduate degree.

Life in RAMJAS

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cource curriculum is highly relevant. It covers fundamental and advanced concepts of zoology , which was the main reason I choose this course. Subjects like human physiology, biochemistry, biomolecules, comparative anatomy of vertebrates, animal behaviour, ...etc. are highly interested and align with my interest. Practical components help in developing and understanding concepts more clearly. However, real world applications is limited. Curriculum prepare students well for further academics for PG or other competitive exams. Exam system is conducted at regular intervals with Internal assessment and semester end. For B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics at Hindu College, the curriculum follows the latest DU UGCF?2022 structure, so it covers both strong theory and some modern applications. The main reason to choose this course is the depth in core areas like Calculus, Algebra, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Probability, which builds a very solid base for higher studies like M.Sc, data science or research. i dont like any thing in this college
