Likes

Binding between seniors and juniors is supurb if u start working on it, they are too helpful.
Teacher are supportive , motivated, and majorly make us aware of outside world
Class size is small, teacher pay attention to each and every person

Dislikes

Function are less, as major fest known as lehren is small as other college to
Canteen food is not so good, u can have it, but cant paise it.
Science department doesnt have there own classroom, they have only one, hence there is a bit of choes in science department.

Course Curriculum Overview

Phy hons. Have a bit larger courses each semester hence we are able to complete it on time and teacher make sure we complete our files and prepared for viva. For real world application , I would say teachers guide us like 60-70 percent already. Improvement can only by main du office as syllabus according to NEP is larger, and students needs to cover 7 subject. Each subject is followed by 1-2 tests and a assignment or vice versa.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees is good, complete cost is also affordable according to how much we work in labs and field visits. Scholarship are also given, there is no stipend anywhere till i know and there is no placement gureentee.

Campus Life

Lehren is the annual fest. Mostly happens nearly in jan-Feb. It is a 2 day fest. Not hyped up fest neither worth it. Library have a huge range of range in my field, I personally liked it. Being a physics hons students we have a personal access to students cyber center. Games like in kabadi, kho-kho, volleyball, they are under rated. We have a great team.

Admission

Cuet is the eligibility. Like 70-80% percentile in physics can get you in kalindi. Application are announced nearly in March- april. This exam happens once a year. Cuet have a bit of lengthier and time taking admission procedure but it's worth it.

Faculty

Teacher students ratio is very good, as the batch is of only 30 students and we have more than 8-9 teacher in department, which take care of all the years, each teacher guide us and make us familer with outside world and work. Learning experience make very innovative sometimes, as they show us videos of lecture, and practicals are done in a very detailed manner, all the member are highly qualified and as we have teachers from IIT delhi as well as aboard, we can contact teacher any time any day, they reply to us, as u know class size is small, each and every student name is remembered by teachers.

Hansraj College: A 3 Dimensional Review

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of Hansraj College is quite active. You are eligible to sit for campus placement offers from 5th semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, capgemini arw frequent recruiters for several posts and positions. The highest offered package is somewhere around 22000 with the average being at 700000-800000. Not all students get placed on campus, however thr hands on training and learning makes you industry ready, making you eligible amd worthy to apply for off campus placement opportunities. Many students prefer not to sit for campus placements and rather opt for higher studies after graduation. I plan to do the same after getting my undergraduate degree.

Life in RAMJAS

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cource curriculum is highly relevant. It covers fundamental and advanced concepts of zoology , which was the main reason I choose this course. Subjects like human physiology, biochemistry, biomolecules, comparative anatomy of vertebrates, animal behaviour, ...etc. are highly interested and align with my interest. Practical components help in developing and understanding concepts more clearly. However, real world applications is limited. Curriculum prepare students well for further academics for PG or other competitive exams. Exam system is conducted at regular intervals with Internal assessment and semester end. Timings are appropriate . Difficulty level is moderate to high.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics at Hindu College, the curriculum follows the latest DU UGCF?2022 structure, so it covers both strong theory and some modern applications. The main reason to choose this course is the depth in core areas like Calculus, Algebra, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Probability, which builds a very solid base for higher studies like M.Sc, data science or research. There are six semesters with continuous internal assessment plus end?semester exams, so students study regularly instead of only before finals. Exams are usually moderate to difficult because questions are concept?based, but the pattern is fair and gives weightage to assignments, tutorials and attendance. Kalindi: The off Campus Star of DU !

There were several Reasons to choose Kalindi: It's an all girls college so it felt comparatively more Safer than the Co-ed ones. Also, this might be an unpopular opinion but the Boys were not there to make mischiefs so there was a good built-in environment for Study. Girls were there to manage each and everything. Either it was NCC, NSS, Sports, Societies or even Student Union, girls were incharge of literally everything and it used to feel very proud and wholesome.
