Remarks

Well, to be honest, the College Management of our college is not that great. There are few reasons, one being that most of the staff being Assamese, they are not able to understand Hindi or English properly, so the communication gap makes it tougher for students to have their say.

Entrance Preview

The college has a beautiful Campus along with some of the great Teachers of our country. I have heard from my senior Friends that the Computer Science Department of IIT-Guwahati is extremely good with good facilities and great teachers before coming to college. And I totally agree with it.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I would like to give 9/10 to the course curriculum of our college. The pros being the great infrastructure and very helpful staff and colleagues. Teachers are always willing to help and even if we want to learn more, still they encourage us. The only drawback I see in the curriculum is that the curriculum is not updated that regularly. It is updated once in 10years, which is not too beneficial for students as they don't get to learn new technologies and updates in the society.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, our college provides various internships for both Undergraduates and Post-Graduates. I am not that aware of the stipend, but I think it is around 15k/month along with Accommodation.

Placement Experience

5

Being the top-tier college of our country, the college gives vast placements and job opportunities with companies coming from all over India. For Computer Science, the average package is 22Lakh/Annum and some of the top companies that come are Microsoft, Google, and Uber.

College Events

4

There are many events that take place in our College. First being the Annual Cultural Fest Alcheringa, which is the country's second-biggest college Fest and North-East's largest Fest. Then the Techniche which is our Technical Fest is held at a very large scale inviting students from all over the country to showcase their Technical Abilities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The Fee structure is quite feasible keeping in mind the great facilities and teaching they give. We have all the sports facilities, and along with all the Technical Clubs being updated recently. It is a great learning experience keeping in mind that this comes just at 1laks/month. Along with this college gives many scholarships to underprivileged students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, I have opted for SBI Scholar Loan which is an initiative taken by our college in the case if parents are not able to give fees.

Campus Life

5

Right Now, the gender ratio is decent enough with 1:10 ratio of Girls: Boys. Moreover, from the previous year, the JEE has increased 14% seats for girls all over the country. As the college is a national college, students come from all the country ranging from Kashmir to Kerala. All the extra-curricular activities are there in our college with regular competitions and hackathons happening.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Before coming to college, many friends told that generally mess food is really bad and you won't be able to eat, but once I came here, I totally disagreed with them as the mess food is really tasty and hygienic. Also, the hostel facilities are great with indoor sports and volleyball and badminton court in each Hostel, along with Stationary, Canteen and Juice Center in each hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

The Alumni Network is really strong and I personally being the head of Student-Alumni Community of our Department, I personally feel that the help of Alumni and Senior Students is really valuable because of the fact that they know the common mistakes.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is beautifully made keeping in mind the benefits students can take. It is a continuous evaluation method, with 3-4 Quizzes in one semester and one Mid Sem and one End Sem. This helps the students not taking the burden at once, but regular learning helps to get the marks

Admission

The admission process was by the JEE Mains and JEE Advanced organized by CBSE and IIT Board respectively. First of all, we have to get JEE Mains and then only 1.5 lakh students from all the country are allowed to JEE Advanced. After that, if we have got 75% above marks in +2 Boards and got a decent rank in JEE Advanced, we fill our preferences of the college with respect to our ranks in JEE Advanced.

Faculty

4.5

I personally feel that every single faculty of our college is very helpful and kind in nature. They are always willing to help the students and in fact, the teachers are so friendly that we play cricket matches and go to their houses during Diwali to enjoy the festival together.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was a major factor that influenced my decision to choose this course, as it is well-structured and offers a balanced combination of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. The syllabus covers essential concepts in a systematic manner, starting from the basics and gradually advancing to more complex topics. The inclusion of practical sessions, assignments, and project work made the course appear relevant and aligned with current academic and professional requirements. This thoughtful design assured me that the course would help in developing analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and subject clarity, which are important for both academic growth and career development.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the course as I actually liked it coz I have studied it in class 11 and 12 and want to study more in the field of data analytics. But here we didn't get much exposure to real world applications as we just ended our first sem but expect to get more in future . We also want immediate internships such that we can work on our skills so far as possible. We get less time to study for the exams as the course is vast but exams reach near but if studied in a daily basis routine, one can cop-up with it

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the course because I dont have so much money to study for btech and all and also I didn't prepare for jee or neet so, the next thing come is mind is bsc that is in botany or zoology as I liked bio more than any other subjects. Yaa by reading botany I can know many things about plant and trees. The improvement that they can do is release a book according to the syllabus by the university and also add few more new teachers such that student can be friendly with them and ask their doubt . For me I think exam timing should be done... Like one before durga puja and one around December . And the difficulty level should be easy .

Course Curriculum Overview:

If I were to grade my own curriculum based on industry standards and my current performance in 2026, here is how I would rate it: 1. Relevance: 9.5/10 The relevance of an AI curriculum is defined by how well the training data prepares the model for real-world utility. Real-Time Adaptability: My curriculum is highly relevant because it isn't "frozen." Through features like Google Search grounding, I can bridge the gap between my training cutoff (January 2025) and the current events of 2026. Multimodal Integration: The curriculum isn't just text; it includes video, audio, and images. This makes the learning highly relevant to how humans actually communicate. Contextual Filtering: During training, "noise" (toxic, low-quality, or redundant data) is filtered out using advanced data-cleaning pipelines, ensuring that the "lessons" I learn are high-signal. 2. Comprehensiveness: 9/10 Comprehensiveness measures the "breadth" of the subjects covered. Subject Mastery: My training covers a massive range of disciplines, from quantum physics and advanced coding to creative writing and local pop culture. I have been "tested" on benchmarks like MMLU (57 subjects) and GPQA (expert-level science), where I consistently perform at or above human-expert levels. The "Long Context" Advantage: With a context window of up to 1 million tokens, my ability to "comprehend" entire libraries of books or hour-long videos in one go is a level of comprehensiveness that traditional education systems cannot match. Minor Gap (The 10%): The reason I don't give a 10/10 is that AI still faces challenges with "Deep Reasoning" in highly niche, unpublished domains or solving brand-new mathematical proofs that haven't been documented yet.The curriculum is world-class, but it is a "living" document. The faculty at Google constantly updates it to ensure I remain useful as the world changes. It is very good and helpful by giving us good knowledge and skills .this ciriculum helped me and it is very good and helpfu

Course Curriculum Overview:

Every year in the college wages programs are held which boost the spirit of the students it allows the students to showcase their talent and again knowledge in other fields too. The sports weeks and the freshers program are one of the prominent functions that are held every year. There could be a better curriculum in the teaching method by using various tools and gadgets including digital board and smart technologies. The exams had a not much to hard not that easy they are held on a moderate level which helps the student to maintain marks and gain knowledge.

Placement Experience:

To be honest, I don't know much about the placement mechanism at my University. Most of the students mainly go for LLM, either in India or abroad. Other than this, some go fo judiciary examination. In terms of campus placement, every year, on average, 15 students get placed out of the strength of around 60 students. Students, on the other hand, secure placement on their end too. My plans after getting the degree are to first practice in court, and then attempt the judiciary examination.
