Remarks

This is one of the best colleges in India. You will get all kinds of benefits. You can mingle with different states of students. Placements are also good. If your academics and CGPA are good you will get a good placement. Nothing bad about this college. They will provide you with all the opportunities you have to utilize it.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum in VIT is of four types namely University core University elective program core program elective. Core subjects mean they are related to your branch and electives as you know extra subjects if you are willing to do then you can do. All the core subjects have to be done and you have to do an elective course to fill your credits. An elective course is very much helpful as they provide more knowledge about a particular subject. They will be helpful in increasing your skills and knowledge

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements in our college are very good. If your CGPA is good and technical knowledge is good then surely u will get a dream or super dream offers. I haven't done any internships yet.

College Events

4.5

We have two main events in our college. One is Gravitas and another one is Riviera. Gravitas is a technical fest, where we can see and participate in lots of technical stuff like Robo Wars. Various students from different colleges will come and participate in this fest. Riviera is our cultural fest, it's India's topmost cultural fest. Many celebrities will come and perform during this fest. We can enjoy a lot during this fest. I can say it's one of the best fests.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My tuition fee in the first year was 1,95,000 and the hostel fee was 1,20,000 including the mess fee. I took 4-bed Non-Ac and non-vegetarian mess. You may have 2000-4000 monthly expenses as we go out during weekends and we want to buy our daily needs stuff like soap, paste, etc, etc

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I didn't. But, I know the procedure. If you are willing to take an education loan, then you have to submit your board certificates, your family Aadhar cards Xerox and some other documents they will inform you about it.

Campus Life

5

Extracurricular activities, labs, sports, debates all are good. We have various clubs which makes students learn new things and they will also teach them how to work. Labs are excellent all equipment is available. If you are a sports freak, then you can enjoy it here, we have two stadiums. We have tournaments during fests. The gender ratio is also quite good

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah, seniors are very helpful. They will guide you in all things. One should have a good connection with seniors they will help you a lot. You need their guidelines in all aspects

Admission

First, I wrote the VITEEE exam which is based on PCM and English. Then, I got a 15k rank and I was called for counseling. I attended counseling in VIT Vellore. You can attend counseling in VIT's other branches also. Then, I opted for mechanical engineering. First, we have to pay some fees in the form of DD, they will mention it as to book your seat in the college. You have to submit affidavits also. Counseling dates will change for every year mostly counseling will be held on May 3rd week.

Faculty

VIT is the topmost University in India. You will get all kinds of facilities. If you join in clubs, you will get technical knowledge which will be useful in our placements. As there are different states students, you can mingle with them and you can share your ideas.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well designed and covered both fundamental and advanced concepts. We choose elective papers each sem one paper from third sem. That selection of elective papers made us to do case study of real world exposure and competency. The curriculum prepared us for the reasonable real world applications. Also workshops and internships bridged the gap between industry expectations and academics. The teaching methods are really supportive and knowledgeable. On the whole the curriculum was strong and but needs to be imapctful.
