Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is being improvised every year by our Dean and it is a good thing to change for the betterment. The curriculum which we are following have theory and practical classes with best clinical exposure. This is a productive method for us to learn when we are observing in 1sst year.
Internships Opportunities
One year Internship program is mandatory. Which is like that in our curriculum and it was not like that for earlier batches . Due to corona pandemic our seniors didn't get more than 5k as stipend but for our batch it has been increased upto 10k which is a great news
Fees and Financial Aid
The academic fees is 20000 for 1st year and the rest three years it's 15000 and hostel fees is 12,000. It's affordable. This is the case for general. Scholarships are given for OBC and lower castes upto 90,000. My friend got 92,000. So it varies but scholarship will be surely provided
Campus Life
College life is pretty much fun . We have interclass, spandan , Holi fest. Then what not . There are clubs for arts and literature. Then jsa is the jipmer student association which conduct and organise all the cultural activities
Admission
In NEET I got 404 and i applied in jipmer bsc counseling session which was via the official website. I got selected and my jipmer rank was 98. There was no separate jipmer exam as such but earlier it was there. Offline counseling session was there . It took three days for counseling, medical test and hostel allotment and fee payment
Faculty
Faculties in anatomy, physiology and foundation course manage to take the class in efficient way. In 1st year they mainly focus on the basics and periodic assessment and assignment are also given. In department the subjects varies and they also conduct practical classes
