IRMA 2024 Graduate review

Excellent. Our curriculum is the same as that of any MBA college along with a special focus on rural side of every industry and relevant practical knowledge that is necessary for Rural Managers.As 65% of India is still considered Rural our learnings make up highly employable in areas that people from other bschools cannot survive in . We as a part of our course have 2 internships of 2 months each .One is a common simmer internship and the other is a village fieldwork segment in which we have to live and work on a project in a village for 2 months . As for an area for improvement morefocus on analytics and programming may be emphasised however that is not what our institute stands for . Exams are conducted twice every 3 months following a trimester system.

Amul,NDDB,Mother Dairy, Dabur, Godrej, ICICI, KOTAK life etc. The other companies keep changing every year however the type of roles remain more or less the same . IT IS USUALLY a market research which is done by travelling and collecting primary data and analysing the data collected to give valuable insights or a sales and marketing project.

In 5th semester students sit for campus placements. Total offers we got this year was 280 for a batch of 270 students. Highest package is around 30 laks ,and average package is 14.5 lalkhs. Companies that visited Amul,LDC,Mother Dairy,Banas Dairy,ICICI Bank,Kotak life insurance etc. To my knowledge 100% of the students are placed My plans are to continue with the placement Inhave got for the next 5 years.

Total fees for my batch comes to ?1500000 and for the next batch is around ?1700000. Tuition fees is around ?800000. Tuition fees has not been increased for my batch after the commencement of the course. Scholarships are available for certain reserved categories and financially burdened upto ?1200000 on presentation of proper documents and required merit cut-off as per college exams .Equal opportunity scholarship is the scholarship of ?300000 which is given to top 20 students in a batch of 270 for academic excellence. For my summer internship in Banas Dairy I got a stipend of ?64000 for 2 months and for my final placements I got a package of ?10 laks the average this year is estimated around ?1300000.

All activities and clubs are student driven and teachers only get involved in case any student asks for help. The annual events we host are milaap for reunion with Alums and Anand run a 12 km run . Books and Journals related to all disciplines are available for issue to all students. Classrooms have charging points ,mics for students and faculty,speakers and projectors.A computer lab with around 80 computers and 10 classrooms ,1 library,1 auditorium. Sopers available are snooker ,carrom,foosball,football,table tennis badminton, cricket, badminton and volleyball.Tournaments are hosted for all the sports. Students run clubs are Placements Management events Sports Lgbtq awareness club Finance Marketing Operations

We get single rooms that are around 90 square feet with a study table, 2 chairs ,1 bed ,one almirah and a bookshelf. There is 1 wasroom for every 3 students . meal quality is extremely poor and forced upon us with additional payment and no option to opt out adding to another ?120000 as our cost for MBA over and above the MBA course fees. Hostel is mandatory and charges are taken in admission fees.

Eligibility Above 50% in 10th,12th and Graduation plus above 83 percentile in CAT/XAT for general candidates. Application form is available online on search IRMA admissions CAT/XAT Exams are easy and conceptual and conducted once a year An area of improvement is a gd round.

We did not have any GD. The interview is very grilling and they test technical knowledge related to bachelors ,inquire as to why we are keen on joining the institute and current affairs. We have to apply And based on our Cat score ,gender, location,Written ability test and interview we get a composite score that determines admission. With a percentile of 85 in CAT and decent interview and Wat I was waitlist no 507.People till waitlist 560 managed to get admission.
