Course Curriculum Overview

5

In terms of relevance of the course it involved more practical exposure rather than only focusing on the theoretical aspect. It involved more focus on skill based knowledge. The institute provided us Live Project for 10 days in retail stores, 2.5 months of internship, Research related projects which could be published on the institute's own publishing journal which adds weightage

Placement Experience

5

About the placement procedure, from the very first Trimester we are being prepared for aptitude tests,Group Discussion rigorously and mostly after our 4th Trimester we get eligible for our placement right after our internship duration and we are being prepared very well for placement season and encouraged for the same. Few of the companies visited EY from the big four then Zomato Alumni's etc., no of companies till now came for placement are 100+ and for different roles also. Highest pacakge is of 12 Lakh CTC.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees - Rs.545500 At the time of enrollment we need to pay Rs50000 and then for by 3 installments we have to pay 165000 which is taken with intervals of 3 to 6 months. Tutiton fees was - 495000 Admission fees - 10000 Exam Fees - 10000 Book Material and Attire - 30400

Campus Life

5

We do celebrate 3 day long fest at the college which is mostly in the month of November or December, there is also celebration of Fresher's party, Farewell Party and Alumni Meets, Convocation ceremony,Sports Week, etc. There is a wide range of books available in the library also the college book made by them for studies. Apart from that there are different clubs for which we are selected for as per our interest.

Admission

I did applied to Shanti business school also which involved higher college fees in comparison to St.Kabir Institute of Professional Studies and provdied same average package and apart from that it didn't provided Dual-Specialization like SKIPS did which was a competitive advantage over other colleges and it did attracted. Admission process included Grouo Discussion which was sort of one on one Discussion with the mentor aptitude test and later on Personal Interview.

Faculty

5

The faculties here are very well educated and knowledgeable and supportive they have in depth knowledges and industry exposure themselves, they have done degrees like CFA,Phd and very well known certifications. If I talk about examination structure it is Case Study based and it involves few MCQs and then case studies there majorly two categories of examination one Mid Internal(which is of 10 marks each) that happens two times in a Trimester and one End External that is of 60 marks and then later on projects for each subject is given which is included in the marks apart from that internship related projects and all other projects are included in the total marks. Marking scheme is as per the Rubrics system which is made by the college itself and that is taught to us.

Interview Experience

5

Yes we did faced Aptitude Test,Group Discussion and Personal Interview before getting admission here. Another criteria was about the entrace exams like CMAT,CAT,XAT,etc thats is also being considered by the institute before giving admission

Night Life

5

The college is nearby resident and near the city and easily accesible metro station therefore easy transportation and easy to grab food. There are many paying guests, flats etc to stay within few kilometers. There are tourists spots also nearby like Palladium Mall, many cafes to go and Domino's

Placement Experience:

IIMs offer 100% placement and the average package of IIM A is 31 lpa which is quite great. Highest packages come close to 1 crore. Every student gets the opportunity of a summer internship program in the 1st year and some are offered pre placement offers too. After the second year students get placed in huge companies with great packages and tend to have a lavish life. IIM A alumni network is very strong too and students get to be inspired by great leader like Ajay Banga who is currently the CEO of Mastercard and nominated to be World Bank CEO too.

Tolani Institute of Management is a place which is allowing the students to fulfill their dreams of higher studies at such a nominal price, which is a remarkable thing. We learned a lot from the course and the curriculum was pretty updated and advanced. Infrastructure, extra-curricular activities, industrial exposure was remarkably good.
