Likes

Jungle in the campus, placements, friends, gdsc club
Support by few teachers like Vaibhav Jain sir, Praveen karma sir etc.
Most of the professors don't have knowledge about their own subject they are taeching.

Dislikes

First year subjects like engineering drawing, Mechanics, etc
Staff behaviour in M block, except for 1-2 all professors are rude.are rude
This year 23-24 selection rounds for placements and internship opportunities were too random. They selected students with less calibar over the student with more calibre and skills

Course Curriculum Overview

Although the college is autonomous, the curriculum seems old to me. There could be more real life practical subjects included in curriculum instead of some less useful subjects. Faculties are not good (except a few).

Internships Opportunities

There are 2 companies visited for internship in 3 rd year. These are Barclays and Deutsche Bank. Both these are banks and they 75000 and 85000 per month during internship as stippened. These year the selection process was too random. There is chances that an another company named ZScaler will visit for internship opportunities around April- May. This is good compared to many collegs but obviously it cannot be compared with IITs and NITs.

Placement Experience

Placement opportunities are decent. 2-3 companies also come to offer internship opportunities in 3rd year. Even in a recession, some students got on-campus placements. The highest CTC is 28 lakhs but the base salary offer is around 11 lakhs. The highest base salary is around 1400000 or 14 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees is decet it is around 90000 including some other fees like exam fees which is taken every sem. I have not taken the hostels provided by college so my living cost is little high. It cost me around 120000 or 1.2 lakhs. So total cost is around 200000 or 2 lakhs per year. There is MMVY scholarship available for all student with anual income less than 6 lakhs. In mmvy you get whole tution fees back. There is other scholarships available as well for st,sc,obc castes.

Campus Life

After covid the other activities and clubs activities has reduce a bit. But it is getting better again now. We have clubs like E-cell, gdsc, etc.. Our anual fest is Aakshak which has not been organised since covid. A first year student has lots of opportunities to participate.

Admission

Eligibility Criteria: Jee mains Application Form: Admission are done through MP DTE counseling Reservation: available for st, sc, obc, ews, pwd etc.. Exams: there are total 3 monthly test from which best 2 are considered. Improvement in administration: M Block faculties should be little supportive.

Whats my thoughts and experience about my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

If i talk about my specific aspect my brother recomment this college for me and as per of my jee scoure 47374 rank this what i get and i forget to apply for Internal branch change thats why this is how i end up . Curriculum is impressive but it good as in there imagination as its not good in real life. If they apply thing perfectly it really help in personal improvement and overall college performance. They should provide more clubs activity and practical soft skills activity as compare to there tight curriculum of constant memorizing courses I score a really good score not difficult that much and have no complain in frequency and timing but there is a story my IT course they faculty fails to complete my 2 units so in end sem i have to prepare it by my own in 10 days from scratch

The Placement of our college is not good , it is around 7 LPA or something less than that . The Students become eligible in the 4th year for the placements . Companies like TCS Visit us Frequently. The highest package offered was 19 LPA

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college not good , it have an avegare package of 6 LPA Which is i think ,this is not the actual figure they are hiding from us. But leave it . The highest package was about 19 LPA . Many students got placed and many did not get placed The placement percentage was about 60% might be less than that.

Placement Experience:

The Placement us not too good but not too bad as it provide average package of Around 700000 INR , Student become eligible in 7th Sem for sitting in placement Cell. They need to score 7+ CGPA for become eligible for placement . The highest package was 39 LPA In The Year 2022. Student got placed percentage was 38%.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it 6/10 because first year subjects and all are mostly unnecessary i guess. Its not required that much. There should be more focus on coding and problem solving in college which is often neglected.frequency and timing are fine of exams.

Yes that is true there is placements happened but average and low placement ratio there is because of students skills but for employability you can placed out of campus that is good option . After getting degree did mtech was good or other government like exam there was option and also out of campus placement with enough skill demand is a better option more than college placements

Journey to success with MITS Gwalior

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate as comparatively less companies visits every year. Number of students for placements are more and companies visits are less that cause less placement ratio for on campus. Moreover upto the end of 8th semester almost 80% of students get placed both including on campus and off campus. My plan is to get a job after graduation.

I had Applied in various colleges. I was getting jc Jabalpur Engineering College, but the condition of Jaunpur miram college is really bad, and I didn't feel the areas safe, and also it is in the place which is much farther than my own house, so it's somewhere. Create a sense of insecurity inside me , whereas indore Is the business capital of MP Madhya Pradesh and DPV is the second best college in Madhya Pradesh? I was getting RGI PT too, but again the distance problem, and it was not into my interest. College provides good placement opportunities and great crowd to interact with

At my rank in JEE this was the best option I choose. And I never regret being a part of this college and a part of this branch. The placement opportunities as well as the average city of this branch is very good.
