- Remote location - Really far away from the city (Ranchi)
- Still in development hence somethings are still in development and will take time
- Time - On an average University timing is 9 to 5 which can be time consuming for people who lives in city
Course Curriculum Overview
I always had interest in IOTs and IT and found myself around it. That's why I decided to choose this course. I wanted my focus on IT only that's why I choosed this course and it's something you should look down too. Teacher methods are great and the lecturer prepares you for real lifs applications and reaching future goals. Exam timing are well timed and their difficulty level are mild.
Placement Experience
University claims to provide 100% placements assurance and top Placement where from TCS, WiPro, Qspider and others. Avg package was around 3-5LPA and so on But I would rather seek jobs not provided by the university
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure includes ?500 for application fee (one time) ?11000 for admission fee (one time) ?45000 semester wise fee (Mid yearly) ?3000 exam fees semester wise ?5000 caution money (Refundable) ?5000 Devlopment and training fees (one time) In total of 3,09,000 (Till this date) Merit Based Scholarships are provided • 100% for all students enrolled in any programme and having more than 95% or more marks in their qualifying examination. • 50% for all students enrolled in any programme and having marks in the range 90%-95% in their qualifying examination. • All female students enrolled in any programme and having more than 80% marks in their qualifying examination will be entitled to get 20% scholarship. • Domicile Based : 10% for students having domicile of Jharkhand and enrolled in any programme. However those getting merit scholarsip will not be eligible for domicile based scholarship. the campus provides training for placements and there's a separate placement cell for this.
Campus Life
Programme that held in the university are • Engineering day • Mathematics day • Annual fest • Exhibitions • Photography • Video making competition • convention And many more... There is a library which to till this date they are expanding. Sport events are held for cricket, kabbadi, badminton and many more. There are various clubs are gaming club, coding clubs and other activities clubs in the university. Students can check their portfolio using digicampus app(for. Collpoll).
Admission
The admission process inquiry is meticulously crafted, giving applicants a comprehensive opportunity to elaborate on their qualifications. Basic eligibility of the course- • HSC/Intermediate with mathematics. • Minimum 50 percentile in HSC/Intermediate. You can apply for admission online via their website https://umu ac.in (500rs admission fee) and for further admission procedure you have to visit University office (One at the University itself and other is located at hari om tower). It would be great if they let students apply completely online including documents.
Interview Experience
During addmission process, They interviewed me and ask questions about my motives towards my programme. They also explained the process and criteria required for the admission. It wasn't too challenging and anyone with ease can compete with the addmission process
