Basically the syllabus of the computer science part attracted me to take this course. Also the mathematics parts are very important for making the launching pad for your career in IT. The curriculum never fails to prepare you for real world applications and further academic excellence. It also helps you to prepare for competitive exams for higher studies. The frequency of exams is very often which is quite tiring . Also sometimes diffult questls make effect on the grade

Our TnP cell helps us to find on campus Internships at big shot companies like Microsoft, Google etc Handsome amount of stipends are offered. There are also great opportunities to develop projects and publish them .

From 9 th semester onwards students of our branch become eligible for campus placements. Companies like VISA, Microsoft come there with lucrative offers. The highest and avarge package are quite impressive. The highest package is nearly 50 lakhs while the average is nearly 12 lakhs. Nearly 50-60 percent of students get placed with some getting multiple offers. After getting degree I am planning to secure a good job through campus placements.

My course fee(tution fee+development fee+lab fee) varies from nearly 55000 to 81000 throughout the 10 semesters. Every year it increases from the previous year by some small amount. Total tution fee is approximately 695000. Similarly Hostel fee varies from 16,000 to 27000. Mess fee varies according to your food choice(veg/non veg).. The basic Mess fee per semester is nearly 20000. Besides this an admission fee of 10,000 is charged and a caution deposit of 15000 is made. There is no management catagory in our college. Tuition fee is nearly same for all the categories. Our college also provides GP Birla scholarship to the students according to their academic excellence. The scholarship covers the tuition at a certain percentage according to the grades the students have achieved.

The name of our Annual Fest is BITOTSAV and the Tech Fest is known as Pantheon. Tech Fest is typically held on November while the cultural is on March. There are a lot of books and journals with some really precious ones in our library. All the classrooms are well equipped with projectors, ACs , mikes etc. My college also organises an annual athletics meet every year on January. We have a separate spotlrts complex with cricket stadium , Badminton court and much more. There are a lot of clubs like photography, journalism , literature, sports and tech clubs. All the clubs arrange their own fests which make the students get always involved in some really interesting stuffs.

Hostel facilities include food, and lodging. Also we have a shop for daily needs at our hostel only. We also have a parlour here. Rooms are quite big and spacious with wardrobes in most of the rooms. They are double sharing in nature. Meal is provided 4 times in a day which is not so great in quality. Quantity is ok. Meanu is not so well curated. Registration process is quite simple and rent is affordable.

I have applied for all the colleges from which I can seek admission through JEE Main. According to my rank at the last round of CSAB this course from BIT Mesra had been allotted to me . I also got the opportunity to get admission in some NITs but I chose this branch due to its wide scopes in the future world. The admission process of our college is mainly through All India JEE Main examination.

The faculty to students ratio in our department is quite impressive. There are nearly 20 faculty members for 65 students. Proffesors are very much friendly and helpful. They can approached without any prior hesitation with the insight of gaining some extremely valuable knowledge. Almost all the faculties of our department are my favourite . I can't mention some particular names. They love me a lot and always help me in any kind of academic difficulties. We have 4 exams two quizzes, midsem and endsem per semester. Exams are very standard and sometimes turn difficult. The course curriculum is very much related to the modern world technologies.

We have gym in our hostel only which closes nearly at 9:00 pm. Library closes at 8:00 pm and cafeterias nearly at 9:00 pm. Hostel timing for the girls is 9:00 pm while for the boys it is not that much restricted. Campus timing is 10;00 pm. There are a lot of famous hangout places for students like PMC, IC, Techno etc. The campus is very much safe for girls to roam around due to the university's excellent security system.
