Good education good placement

If college campus is not factor then IEM is very good in terms of academics and placements. Students can get a clean and effective knowledge in all academic areas as well as extra curriculums.

I qualified WBJEE to get into this college. I scored 72% in that exam and i opted IEM because it is the no. 1 private college of West Bengal

Course structure is quite good and convenient. There are a large no. Of courses that IEM provide to students such as B. Tech, M.TECH, BCA, MBA, etc. the syllabus is also divided into a helpful manner such that the students would not get any difficulty in any semester.

No, my college doesn't provide internships. But, in future I think it must be a better experience for the students to get internship in their college itself.

Placement and job opportunities are undoubtedly better than any college of West Bengal. A large number of companies come to place the students. Almost all the students get atleast one job opportunity. Many of them get 2-3 job opportunities as well. The highest package of the student is also quite good and it happens in each and every year.

Starting from the freshers party for the new comers, college manages to conduct a large number of events and fests every year. There are tech fests and cultural fests along with a number of competitions every year such as rangoli competition, face painting competition and many more.

Fee structure of IEM is quite good in comparison to other private colleges. Students have to pay 49000 each semester which is not a big deal as compared to the fee structure of other private colleges. As per my knowledge, no such scholarships or loans are provided by the college but students can go for the other scholarships and loans facilities and the college will give the required administrative support such as verification of college students and providing bona-fide and fee structure of the college.

Campus is not so good but labs and other extra curricular labs are well maintained. There are sufficient lab apparatus such that students may get good knowledge of lab activities. There are several events conducted to get the knowledge about different extracurricular activities such as robotics and many more. Several seminars are also conducted in intervals in which delicates addresses students.

Hostel facilities are very good but food quality is not so good i n the hostels. So a large number of students stay in PGs and flats. A good number of PGs are available near to the college which are very convenient in terms of rent and food quality.

In IEM, alumni network is very strong. Each and every year one alumni team which works for robotics seminars conduct seminars in the college premises to address students about the working of robots. Moreover in every field whether it is academics or music bands, everywhere the presence of alumni is noticed.

In IEM, exams are conducted in such a way that students can access all the syllabus step by step. Starting from the internal tests, there are two internal tests per semester will equally covers half of the syllabus of each semester. Lastly, students go for the semester exams.

I had gone through a no. Of counselling steps and college upgradation steps to get into this college. First of all, I went to updrage my given college to IEM. Then, in the second round of counselling, my college got updraged to IEM and that college got locked acoording to my college preference. Then, I went through some administrative steps in the college itself and lastly got admissions in IEM

Faculties are undoubtedly outstanding. The manage to cover all the syllabus in the given time with full details and effectiveness. Students can discuss their questions even after the college hours. They try to give all the knowlege to us in an effective way.
