Likes

I like the faculty members they are actually so good and also the library there are so many books and the class room and campus are well maintained
Teaching skils are so good and the decipline is so good
In our campus there are so many labs and also there they prepare for government exam and so many extra curricular activities

Dislikes

Our college don't have any play ground that's why we can't play outdoor games
And the another thing that I think is so high is the fee structure if it would some less then it will be perfect

I choose this cse course because in this generation the technical field is growing so much, if you want to see your carrier in a good it company then at first you have to know about so many things which are included in our course. And the of our department are actually good they helps so much and also they are very good teacher their teaching skils are outstanding and they are well qualified some are from iit, jadavpur etc.

Internships Opportunities

There you can get so many opportunities and so many well known IT companies come to hire students like tcs, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture. Also collage help to prepare us for interview and internship exam

Placement Experience

The best thing of uem and iem group is their campus placement.That is outstanding from 3rd year you can seat for placement and so many well known IT companies come to hire students like tcs, Wipro, Infosys, cognigent, Accenture etc

Fees and Financial Aid

For our course the total four year course fees is 7 lakh 10 thousand. In my opinion this is very big ammount of money for a middle class family students. It would be great if the college fees were a little less.But there are scholarship opportunities if you worth it then you can apply for scholarship

Campus Life

The campus life of the college is decent there are so many fest and cultural program is occured.The main fest is happend in the month of January. The main thing that I like most in my college is the library if anyone say to rate the library of uem Kolkata I will give 10 out of 10 and also there are so many sports opportunity but the collage don't have ground that's why we face some problem to play outdoor games

Admission

You have to pass 10th and 12th board examination with minimum 80 persent marks and you have to pass the wbjee exam. Then you can easily get information from our college website as well as in our campus which is situated in Newtown action area 3 near biswa bangla gate and you can also talk in salt lake asram building where you can get all of your questions answers.

Placement Experience:

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from 7 and 8 semester also their are many placement on thee intern companies. thier are total of 50 t0 60 companies that visits year which leads to very good placement percentage, in mining its above 90 percent. companies which come are infosys, microsoft, google , coal india, tcs, pwc etc. the higest pacage was 39 lacs by coal india. as mentioned above the placement is very good and almost everybranch placement is between 79 to 95 percentage of student which are placed, their are many mass recruiter if you didnt get the best pacakge you still have the chance to get a good package from the mass recruiter. my plan after degree is to advance in computer science even if i dont have the branch but i have the passion to do coding and become a web developer also i will try to get some more degree like mba and mtech and i will also try if i get selection to study abroad.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

If frustration would have a definition.

If you want to join ths college you have give IEMJEE (their own admission exam) or through WBJEE Exam. But don't worry pal half of it's admission is done by management quota and rest of the seat is seal by external broker.
