Course Curriculum Overview
My college is a very good and I have interest in making new bridges, factory machines and machinery a lot so I choose it. There are 13 permanent teacher. Teachers student ratio is 1: 10 . Professors are highly qualified. Our one teacher did one foreign internship. Term exams are easy and never delayed but semester exams are slightly tuff and many student failed also.
Internships Opportunities
Tata group gave the internship opportunities for junior technician and mechanical developer with the stipend of 6k/month + living cost to one of our seniors. The project was about how to maintain vehicles and make it more sustainable.
Placement Experience
6th semester studens are eligible for placement. Companies are TCS, ashok Leyland, general Motors, cognizant, etc. For mechanical engineers highest package is 10 lpa and average is 5 lpa. 85% students gets placed. I want to go in TCS after my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is not so much fees hike but fees is affordable. The cost of study is around 6 lakh for four years. The students who passed from West Bengal board they got the scholarship but I am from bihar board so I don't get any scholarship.
Campus Life
Our annual fest is Technofest and usually held in January or february. There is so much fests in our college and so much clubs like Samarth, Eclectica etc. Our college has a good library with all type of books and journal. Classrooms are quite good and always clean. Our campus is not so big but there is facilities of indoor and outdoor games and there are so many engaging clubs for extra curricular activities.
Hostel Facilities
We got 3 bed room and rooms are not big but adjustable. The facilities are free wifi, bathroom, and 3 time food. Meals are descent. There is separation of veg and non veg also. Menu is like rice, roti, curry, fish, egg, meat etc. Hostels are affordable and registration process is very easy. Locality is not so much but hostel is 25 min walk away from college.
Admission
Eligibility for the course is you have to pass your class 12 with science with 60% . And have to give WBJEE exam. Application form from wbjee. nic. in . In month of January you have to submit application. Application fees is 500 rupees. No I don't got any reservation. The improvement I want to do is they should do one time documents verification in college in admission process.
