- Mid sem date sheet should come atleast 1-2 weeks prior to the exam. They should not conduct 5 exams within 2 days in midsem.
- The frequency and level of tech fests and cultural events should improve.
Course Curriculum Overview
My college follows RGPV curriculum which is moderately tough. The faculty members are quite helpful and supportive. I choose this course as it provides excellent placement opportunities. The faculty to student ratio is roughly 1:70 for each lecture. The faculty is highly qualified and many of them are PhD holders. Teaching methods are quite conventional and old school. I haven't appeared for end terms yet, I did appear for mid sems which were comparitively tough to the end sem exams (as per I have heard from the seniors). The fact that the time-table for mid sem exams are just announced 3-4 days prior to the exams makes it even more tough to perform well in them. But the end sem exam dates are informed approximately 1 month prior to the exams.
Internships Opportunities
The placement process in the college starts from 3rd year. Many students get placed by the time they enter their 4th year. Companies like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Deutsche Bank, First cry, Google and many more provide internship opportunities and a fair amount of stipend until they get full-time job offers.
Placement Experience
The campus placements are excellent and they are something to look forward to in the college. Jobs are available for each branch and the TNP (training and placement) cell leaves no stone unturned to provide package to each and every student provided that you have the necessary skill set and will to achieve big.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure varies according to the branch you are looking for. As everywhere, the fees for highly demandable course is much more than the rest. It is maximum for CSE, then CSE with specialization followed by EC and Mechanical in decreasing order. There is EWS category and various provisions for scholarship.
Campus Life
The life at campus is not very attractive and note-worthy. The magnitude and frequency of fests is very less. Occassionaly some fairly known artists perform in some of the college event. Classrooms have facility of smart board but they are rarely utilised to the fullest. Sports and extra curricular activities are there but are below par. Clubs are available to join for students from second year.
Admission
I got my admission in this college through my JEE Mains exam via MP-DTE counselling. The eligibility criteria for my branch was to secure a rank upto 140000 for general category. I don't see any room for improvement in the admission process.
