Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I love electronics devices and communication things. Students are more than faculty members in our college. Faculty members are very good and the way they teach it's easy to understand. Semester exam 6 months duration and if you read properly you can pass exams easily.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The companies are Wipro,TCS, Infosys. Junior engineering and industrial training in Jadavpur University and many more projects are provided. There are many projects like AIML, machine learning and website development

Placement Experience

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies like TCS, Wipro,By jus, Cognizant, Infosys visited and 800 offers are made by far. 85 percent students getting placements each every year. I want to go for higher studies like M-tech,Phd

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fees hike from the first year till fourth year. It's always same from the beginning to end. There is no scholarship available in college but the government scholarship Swami Vivekananda's scholarship is available. Stipend offer 5000.Also high companies like TCS , Wipro offered job opportunities.

Campus Life

The annual/cultural fest is Spandan and the Tech Fest is Resonance. And the month is March in which they are conducted. There is huge amount of books and journals are in the Library. There are chair table for sir, projectors,black board and fan light in classrooms. Athlema is organised in our college , it is a sport and extra curricular activities. There are cultural and technical clubs in our college.

Hostel Facilities

There is one almirah,one bed ,one chair and one table is in the room . Rooms are very good and clean. Meal quality is good also , egg in Monday, Thursday, Saturday, chicken in Sunday and Friday and Wednesday night. The hostel allotment process is very smooth and easy. There is locality for students who want to take PG for further studies

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

Admission

There is no eligibility of the course. Application dates, application fees,and application form are available in college official website. There is no point I want to see improvement in the addmission process.

Placement Experience:

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

A GOOD COLLEGE WITH GOOD PLACEMENT , SPORTS FACILITY.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
