I am first year B.TECH student

Ony bad remark for my college.. i request you to not join this college.. i made a huge mistake to join this college .. if u get other college then go to other college ..

I came through WBJEE i got 69.50 marks and i got information technology branch in my college ... i opt this branch because i like coding..

It is very good for research you do coding and and do lab practise ... your brain will use in this branch .. mathematics is required in this branch .. if u are good in mathematics then go for this branch .. otherwise i suggest go for other branches..

No this college will not provide any internship you have to get at yoir own merit .. even in this college you are not allow to go for internship for 2 or 3 months ..

Placement opportunities are good here .. almost 80% are placed but at very low package avg package is 3.2 lakh.. mainly all student are placed in TCS .. and mainy CS IT ECE students are placed other branch are not placed in any company ... if u want to get higher package then u should go for off campus recruitment ..

Fist event is freshers welcome event held in this college but this is very poorely conducted.. u will definietly frustrated from these type of event .. after that TECHNICAL FEST OR CULTURAL FEST ..mainly these three fest are held here..but these feat are very poorwly organised .. u didn't expect like these type of fest ..

Its is expensive .. for first semester u have to pay 61000.. after ther in 2nd semester u have to pay 49000 .. and then constantly in each remaining 6th semster u have to pay 51000rs in these semester... total fee is 4,35,000rs.. for four year .. and hostel. Fee is 88,000 yearly .. it is very expensive ..

Scholarship are not provided here ... but loan facility is availaible in this college .. by idbi bank or indianoverseas bank at interest rate @10.56. It is very high ..

Campus life is very bad in this college... in extracurricular activities only cricket is available..or music club photography club is here ..apart from this no other facility will be provide from college .. here raging is strictly prohibitted .. i request you to please not join this college here your all dream will be broken..

Hostel facility are very bad .. hostel are not inside the campus it is jus like PG are mess food is very bad .. if u want to campis life then here u will not get any facility like that .. here if you interested in any sports then in campus there is no facility for any sports... u have to go outside the campus for sports...

Here this is very big issue because campus is very short just two building .. then all student live in different different area then u don't any touch from your seniors .. then they are not helpful .. u have to do all your work from own no support you will get from seniors ..

Two mid semester exam and one main semester exam ... in mid semester exam is one hour exam it is very easy paper .. it is conducted by college ... in semsster exam is 3hour paper it is also very easy just one night study is enough for passing marks .. in this college u will not my find any difficulty to clear paper.

First i fill up the form in january.. i got notification in december .. examination form release date is 5th january and exam is held on 23rd april ..and then result will come on 5th june ...after that for counselling i get notification further then i fill up the counsellimg form then..i get seat allocation in 2nd round information tecgnology in IEM KOLKATA then further my documents verify then i got admission i my college...

In my college one or two faculty are highly qualified apart from these two no other faculty is qualified .. in this faculty are very boring ..you frustrated from faculty like this you don't about this .. how can faculty of engineering college are like this ..
