The infrastructure of college is too good and it's located in VV NAGAR so the place is very peaceful for study.
In VV Nagar you can easily get food and accommodation.
Teaching method is good and it's helpful to crack exams like This is the only autonomous institute in Gujarat.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because the scope of civil engineer in government services is more than other branches. Maximum of faculty members are IITians. Teaching method is best as they are all experienced.There are 2 midsem exams and one endsem exam in everysem. It's tough to pass but if you studied well you can pass it.

Internships Opportunities

BVM, a premier engineering college, is considered to be top 1% among all engineering colleges in Gujarat. Since inception, BVM has a record of best Placement all over Gujarat. Around 100+companies, including MNCs like TCS, L&T, ABB, Torrent Power, Seimens, Essar etc.. visit BVM every year for placement.

Placement Experience

From 8th sem students cab eligible for placement. Famous companies visited were L&T CONSTRUCTIONS, ADANI, TSC , RKC ,MG MOTORS ,SHAPORJI AND PALONJI, VOLTAS , RELIANCE , ESSAR , INFOSYS and many more. 60 - 70 percent students get placements. I want to get placed in Company.

Fees and Financial Aid

Endsem exam's fees is 1050 in every sem. 1 year fees is around 6000. It's only for GIA students in civil engineering. I got admission in GIA. Books are available in library so no cost for books. Digital Gujarat And MYSY scholarship is available.

Campus Life

Every year there is GENESIS and UDAAN, Big festivals, Are held in College for nearly 4 days each. There are more Than 10000 books in library and there is also digital library. Sports week is also organised. NSS is run by students. Infrastructure is excellent as it is renovated this year only.

Hostel Facilities

There are two boys hostels. In old one fee is 18000per year and in new one is around 70000 and more as per the requirement of student . Food given is of good quality. Registration for hostel is done in college. If you rent a room the cost for room generally is 1500 per month and for food it it upto 5000.

Admission

I got admission through ACPC. My ACPC rank was 22304 , and because of I'm in SC category I got admission in BVM college In second Round. Application fees was 1500 . For ACPC rank Gujcet marks and 12th marks were considered.

I preferred BVM college Instead of DDU because for civil engineering BVM is the best college in Gujarat in every criteria.

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.
