I choose computer Science and Technology because I wanted to be a professional engineer a computer field. The faculty have done M.tec and there is one professor for approximately 40 students in our department.

There are various companies the offers internship and learning program and give performance certificate like TATA, CIDCO, WIPRO, TCS, TATA MOTORS, MAHINDRA, ORACLE, and many more we have to do certain projects to make it easy to get an intern.

Placement Experience

We became eligible for placement after three years, The college had various opportunities to participate in multiple internships provided, which helps to collect certificates which helps in a good CV report.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know much about the fees policy but the fees structure is about 18000 for complete 3 years diploma course. There are many scholarships that everyone apply for like SVMCM,OASIS plus there are campus job available.

Campus Life

There are many fest and annual functions for the students and faculty such ongoing fest right now is samrudhi its one of the largest fest of our college which offers cash prize on winning and there is also exciting rewards

Admission

I took admitted to Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar Polytechnic Jhargram through the JEXPO examination. After giving my higher secondary examination from the West Bengal board. The admission process is very easy and it took only 5 minutes for verification.

The placement of our college is average, from 6 semester you get your job interview. About 60% students are gate they are jobs placements. Yaar maine company visited like HPL, ECL, IOCL attar getting the degree I have no plan.

After passing 4th semester L&T, TATA, NIPPON STEEL, JSL, JSW, BRAVO etc Highest package provided is around 8-10 LPA and average package provided is around 4 LPA. Usually and L&T and JSL provides high packages Almost 70-80% of students I'm going to take admission in a BTECH college for persuing Bachelor in Engineering degree

Course Curriculum Overview:

I belong a lower middle class family so I knew that it is diploma Engineering which is held by jexpo entrenced exam that is quietly easy for me to qualify a govt college. In daily study base i undergoes with my study. Teaching method of my college teacher are quite good but management system of this diploma are very bad.

L and t company and much more high package is 3.5 lakh per annum aur department students got 90 per cent placed. I have been placed in tata motors which gives me 3.2 lacs per annum. My plan is to do b tech at Jadavpur University.

Firstly you have to pass the Madhyamik exam with at least 35% of marks and you need to clear the JEXPO exam conducted by WBJEE. There is online counseling for the JEXPO exam where you can will to take admission to this college, if your name is shortlisted then you can take admission in offline mode on the college campus. I am very proud to be part of Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar polytechnic college

In west Bengal, Very few colleges provide Metallurgy stream in diploma. Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar polytechnic(ICVP) is one of them. First, you have to apply for the JEXPO entrance exam after completing the 10th/ 12th. The application form will available in any Diploma College or you can apply online. Application fees are almost 500 rs. You have to rank in the Jexpo exam under 10000, to avail of the seat. In ICVP seat reservation is available, for this, you have to pay 500rs. Great Memories with this College.

After getting a valid rank in JEXPO 2017 i have chosen this college and this stream because i love steel making so a very few colleges are in west Bengal for Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering and i got this college through counseling. After paying the seat booking fees i have to go for physical verification of all documents with a Medical fitness certificate and Indemnity bond to the college. The criteria for getting admission is to hold a good rank generally between 5000 in jexpo and having minimum of 45% marks in 10th or 12th whichever is the last qualification.
