K.G.Engineering Institute was established in 1922 and K.G.Engineering Institute is one of the oldest among government colleges in West Bengal. The college is affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology - [WBUT], Kolkata. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This college now offers 5(Five) courses civil engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics & Tele-communication and Computer Science and Technology. Student total intake capacity is 270.
