Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because of my interest in accounting and finance. The number of teachers was less compared to students. The teachers are well qualified but the quality of teaching was not that good, some teachers were excellent but some were very bad at teaching. There were two major exams in a year, as well as a few tests and vivas each month. Exam difficulty was moderate.

Internships Opportunities

The internships were terrible since they provide no practical experience we had to hunt for internships on our own. The internship opportunities provided weren't very good, therefore we didn't learn any new skills or knowledge from them.

Fees and Financial Aid

The education costs were not expensive. It was affordable. There were no job placements on campus. Students need to register on the placement cell of Delhi university for job opportunities or they can look for jobs by themselves.

Campus Life

There were no fests during my period because of the pandemic. Occasionally, I heard, fests were held. The books were easily available at the library. There were a few facilities for sports including volleyball and cricket. There is a beautiful cricket ground as well. There were other social groups, such as Commania, which was founded by students of commerce.

Admission

First of all, this college is affiliated with Delhi university and did not have an entrance exam for admission. Instead, admissions were based on the 12th board percentage(merit-based). 2019's cut-off for this college was 89% in the top four subjects. The application process was simple, I only had to complete the application form on Delhi university's website. Once the cut-off lists were released, I had to choose a college based on my percentage and the course I want to enroll in. There were seats for reserved category people as well.

Yes our college provides placements to the student and the students who are in their final semester(6 semester) are eligible for the placement. The companies which comes to college are Kpmg, dillote, Ey, bain and company etc. The average package is around 9 lakh and the highest package is 36.5 lakh.

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd semester become eligible for campus placements. Companies like pwc, EY, deloitte has visited our campus and offered packages according to the competency of student. 35-40% people do get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to move abroad and pursue ACCA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is really relevant and comprehensive. For eg in bcom we study business law, company law, Human Resources management, marketing, financial and corporate accounting, finance, busines maths, stats, income tax, cost accounting, economics as ge so all these are really great well structureda and do have real life practical applications therefore i think my course is really very well aligned and comprehensive in terms of the business world.

i dont like any thing in this college

during the addmission time i dont have that much knowlage which i have know this is the first college i have alloted in 3rd list and i was scared that i dont want to miss that too thats why i choose this college other then that if i have any other option to cahnge my college i will definetly changed that i have to travel 2 hours for the college if i want to attend the 8:30 class i have to take the first metro from the neartest metro station and evry day 4 hours travel was hactek when i reach home i just went to sleep i dont have energy for take 10 mins for my food that was my bad i was not awear about the frizeing systerm and i was afred that my be i dont get admission in other college thats why i just take the first apportunity and just leand with it the admiddion process is very confusing i asks many people abaout that then i did what every i can i waas very sad after i got to know the things becous 3 years is a big time and evry day i ahve to weast my 4 hours in traveling that why i tred form migration but from my college migration was not allowed and i have to score 80% for maigratiob...Read More

REALITY OF SSNC
