Student life at MSIT

I chose this course because I did not have any other option, my rank was low, and was not able to opt for Computer Science. The faculty-student ratio is 80:2500. Most of the teachers are Ph.D. qualified and some teachers have master's degrees, teachers don't have that many teaching skills, they usually don't solve the doubts of the students and just skip them, and only 5-10% of the teachers are loyal towards the students. Mid-semester exams usually start after 2 months from the beginning of the semester, and end-semester exams usually start after 4 months from the beginning of the semester.

Companies like cognizant, oracle, TCS, HCL, etc visit the college, internships are available for the students in the 5th semester, and companies come and give the students an opportunity to get to work with them for a short period of time, it can be paid or free. There are no mentioned projects and tasks.

Students are eligible for placements from the 7th Semester, companies visit the college at that time. Companies like Cognizant, amazon, hcl, TCS, cpplus, etc visit the college. the highest package of MSIT was 1Cr this year, an the average package of msit college is 10 lakh per annum. 70% of students get placed in companies. My plan after getting the degree is to get a job.

The current batch has a fee of 1 lakh 57 thousand rupees, and the total cost of the course is around 6 lah 48 thousand rupees. the college provides merit cum mean scholarships for students whose parents earn less than 6lpa. They can easily get 100% of the tuition fee back to their bank account if they have a ration card. They can apply for this scholarship in the college itself.

There is no annual fest in the college, there is some tech fest that usually occurs once a year. Books can be issued to the students from the library, it is issued on the first week of the semester, and must be submitted at the end of the semester. There are amenities like, fans, tube lights, a projector, and a podium. There are sports like football, volleyball, cricket, and badminton. There is a badminton court and a football field. There are societies like Ocatave, Anveshan, etc. Campus life is worst, there is only a building, cafeteria, and a football field. The campus is too small.

Eligibility for the course is 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. The application form can be found at ipu.admission.nic.in, the window appears every year from July to November, and the registration. fee costs 1200/- and 2000/- for sitting in counseling. There is a defense quota for wards of defense personnel, and there are priorities based on different cases. I believe there should be no further changes to the admission process.
