All about NIE Mysore by Satwik (placed in Samsung)

The admission to this college was through the KEA entrance exam. The state board conducts an exam called K-CET after regular board exams. One can take admission through comedk, and also management seats are also available. You should contact college administrators through their website. The board will release cutoffs for different category people. It will provide both aided and unaided seats. It all depends on the rank you get. Once you select the college you must take all the required details and documents to the college and the admission process is really simple. The college officials will handle it smoothly. I took admission without any reservation.

I choose electronics and communications wholeheartedly. Since my childhood, I was very interested in electronics and very humble in learning new topics in digital electronics. I was never a coding guy, so I took electronics and communications as my course. It was an easy choice for me. So class's average strength is around 65 to 70. And the faculty: student ratio is quite good. The teachers are well qualified and most of them are doctorate holders. The timetable is arranged in a manner such that there is smooth conduction of classes for all-year students. The exams are semester wise and there will be internals every month. Questions are better, you have to know little bit contents taught in classes and also from textbooks. It is easy to pass.

As I took admitted through CET and I got a government seat. So my fee structure is quite low compared to others. My annual fee is around 32k and it is divided into 19.5 + 12.5 government and college fees. The fees for Unaided students are around 70K and for comedk quite above that around 1.3L. The management seat varies from 2L up to 6L. There are many scholarship schemes available depending on merit, and the category they belong to. I don't have any category quota (GM) and I haven't enabled any scholarships till now.

The Campus is quite okay. It is split into two areas and 4 complexes, mainly Admin block , NRN block , Golden Jubilee block and Daimond Jubilee Block. There are many fests happening through a year starting from main events like TechNIEks an annual day which will be held for 3 days. It is grandly celebrated. There will be fests from individual branches. There is a well facilitated library available and you can access to any books you want . Time period of 15 days and can renew it.it's free of cost. Classrooms are well arranged. Fans , Samsung Flip smart boards, projectors, end every amenities for a perfect classroom. College has a seperate sports department and one can access to any sports . All types of courts are available. Individual championships are held and also team events. Many social groups and clubs are present in the college Like IEEE , UCSP, Make a difference , Kalasamhita for art and culture Onyx and many more.
