Remarks

As of this year for admission to all central universities, you have to give the Common university entrance test. This exam is conducted by the National testing agency. I have filled out the form from the Cuet Samarth website as I belong to the general category I have EWS reservation benefits so do I have to pay 1200? for 2 shifts of examination and you have to choose those subjects which you have studied in class 12th and then I gave my CUET exams in September and after results, I have to fill the separate form of universities to which I want admission and I filled admission form of 2 Universities 1) Delhi University and 2) Banaras Hindu University on their respective websites and I got admission in 1st round of Casas (Delhi university) and 1st list of BHU-Rajiv Gandhi South Campus. Delhi University is my dream since childhood so obviously, I freeze my allocated seat at Satyawati college morning History Hons. The admission process is really lengthy and slow we faced many difficulties but now all is worth it.??

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I'm a UPSC aspirant and I love reading about the history of India and other countries so I opted for History Hons. Currently, I'm in 1st year but I can say the faculty of Satyawati college is extremely good I can say one of the best faculty for those who want to study... All faculty of History Hons have completed their Ph.D. from most reputed Central Government Universities and their teaching method is very good, we are loving it the way they deliver lectures with real-life examples and many more. Currently, I haven't given any term exam so I can not tell you about this now.

Internships Opportunities

4

Saksham is the Career Counselling, Placement, and Entrepreneurship cell of Satyawati College (Morning), recognized under the University of Delhi. The cell targets to bring internships, placements, and entrepreneurial opportunities to those who capably seek them. Breaking its tyrants since 2016, the highest placement package offered was 32.5 LPA with the lowest being 6 LPA. Moreover, the placement fairs and annual fiestas organized by the society are the correct blends of guidance and extra classroom exposure for our students.

Placement Experience

3

Maximum placement is available for courses like B.com Hons and in history Hons, you have options like a lawyer, civil services, professor, history specialist, leader, and many more. You can go for higher education like a master's and PhD.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for my course is? 14,865 per year. And it is worth it. If you go to any private colleges they will charge you 60-80k per year but you cannot get better faculty than Delhi university at private colleges.

Campus Life

4

Orion Annual Fest by Saksham society, Annual college fest, Rangotsav, abhivyakti society annual debating fest, ghost fest, art and culture society fest, and many more. There are 2 Libraries in our college(morning and evening) and both consist of a very vast variety of books and daily 30+ newspapers and magazines available at both college libraries. Classrooms consist of all the basic amenities which are required for students. All sports equipment and the gym is available in our college we have a badminton court, basketball court, and cricket court at our college. There are many different societies available at our college you have to give audition for being a part of these societies.

Other Applied Colleges

Banaras Hindu University - [BHU] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Social Science)

I want admission in main campus but i got rgsc so i opted for Satyawati college which is better than rgsc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

British classics, Indian writing, postcolonial literature builds a strong foundation in literary analysis, critical thinking, and interpretation, which are useful skills. As for comprehensiveness, the curriculum is quite broad. It covers multiple literary periods, genres, and critical theories over the three years, so you’re not really missing out on the essentials. In that sense, it feels academically complete. But sometimes, it leans more towards breadth over depth you move quickly from one topic to another.

Placement Experience:

There's a placement cell and placement drives do happen in college but genuinely the package offered is not really considerable. After the 4th semester students are considered to sit in the placement drives though I would say it is not very efficient and fruitful.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

The curriculum was overall good and being a economics honours courses it was challenging at times. The course offers many things for students interms of their further academic pursuits or any placement they are looking for. Talking about the areas of improvement and teaching methods there are none. The exams of the respective subject are to happen. They take test 1 , test 2 and there is final exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.
