you are eligible for the course after class 12th just by qualifying imu cet. I had my admissions during the Covid period. Then, IMU CET was planned as every year but due to Covid it was canceled and we got our admissions based on class 12th results. After the lost came out we did our verification submitted the fee and got admission.

I am a defense aspirant so I wanted to join the Indian navy, this course seemed beneficial for me in per future that's why I joined this course. Faculty members are good here student ratio is approx. 4:1. All faculty members are well industry-experienced. the term exam is held every 4 to 5 months if you study well you will pass it.

There are not many opportunities for internships that are provided by the college, some shipyards like grease or classification societies like IRS can give you opportunities but mostly you have to be dependent upon you finding contacts and mailing by yourself and getting internships.

Normally opportunities for your placements in 4th year and they start placing people who are good enough. They have some criteria for giving their test. If you are not placed then you have to seek off placement depending upon your contact in the industry. otherwise, you can do your post-graduation.

The yearly fee of this college is 225000 which includes your tuition fee, hostel fee, mess fee, etc. there are no scholarships provided by the college but you can apply for some outside scholarships. you will also not get any financial assistance. During campus placements if you are good enough then you will be placed otherwise you have to seek off-campus depending upon contacts of your own.

There is only one techno-cultural fest that is held in two years named Shrestha and it was paused after the pandemic we are going to start it again. This college holds Asia's biggest marine library with a lot of books and magazine but it is open till 5 pm. college have its official magazine and newsletter named laola run by students. It has also different clubs for dance, art, and craft, photography, nature, trekking, etc. also there is one initiative by students called LSD.
