Remarks

There's no entrance exam but there is a merit-based fee concession i.e. if we get good marks in the 10th class then we are eligible for fee concession. Minimum of 9.7 GPA in SSC. There is MEC, MEC + CA, and CEC available.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen MEC + CA, in which we will get the teaching for MEC(the state board) and also coaching for CA Foundation conducted by ICAI. In MEC + CA, the main focus will be on CA, and the teachers are very well educated. There will be a min of 70 students in the class. There will be junior lecturers for each class. Term exams are conducted every 2 months and they will be a bit difficult. The teaching method will be good. There will be a focus on Extra curriculum activities also.

Class Size: 216Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For me Tuition fees are? 50000 and the Hostel fee is? 35000 for year 1. And it is increased by 5-10% in the next year. While joining based on your SSC GPA or marks, they will give a merit-based fee concession. It is not so much.

Campus Life

Campus life is very nice. There are two campuses in Tirupathi, one is outside the town in which I have enrolled. It is a super nice campus. Fresh air and a nice environment. There will be one fest at the end of the year and also many extracurricular activities throughout the year like essay writing, storytelling, creative ad making, etc.. and also a dance program, and a singing program. Classrooms will have a whiteboard, good lighting, and fans. There is also a computer lab, projector room, and a very big library. The library is very good.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is not so excellent. There will be 4-5 members in a room. There will be a common bathroom for the entire floor. Hot water is provided (but will not work all the time). Every room will have a light and a fan. The food in the hostel is not so good. The menu will be routine and average food. They will provide snacks 3 days a week. Milk and Tea every evening and morning. There will be cots, we need to bring our bed. We will have a Movie every Saturday provided there is no rain cuz the movie will be projected on the ground.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose MBA, the MBA curriculum used to cover major factors like finance, hr, Information Technology, and marketing. For real-time applications and problem-solving, the JNTU curriculum was the best as it deals with practical issues and concerns. How ever few subjects like Business statistics for managers, and computer applications have such concepts which are very old and inappropriate for current job market conditions, I think in this area they need improvements. Before joining the college, they said it is 6 months duration from each semester, but in the second year, exams were conducted with only 4 months duration, where I felt some of the concepts were difficult to cover.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from 6th semester after CRT training. Companies visited: TCS 120 offers, Wipro 85 offers, Accenture 60 offers, Infosys 50 offers, Capgemini 40 offers, Tech Mahindra 30 offers, some startups 2 to 5 offers each. Highest package is 7.5 LPA by EPAM Systems for developer role. Average package is 3.8 to 4.2 LPA for associate engineer and analyst roles. About 65 to 70 percent of CSE students get placed through campus. Others go for off campus, higher studies, or GATE. My plan after degree is to join a service based company and upskill in cloud to switch later.

Placement Experience:

Our College provides 100% placements. From 4th Semester, we have received training in interview preparation and written test techniques. By 5th Semester, we became eligible for campus placements, attracting a range of companies, including Bank of America, Accenture, Intellipat, and State Street. No company has departed without making offers, and several students have successfully secured positions, at least one student is placed in each of the companies mentioned above. The highest package being 5LPA at State Street and an average package of 3LPA. Out of our batch ,196 members opted for placements, while 35 remained to be placed. I have been fortunate to secure a position at Accenture, along with 28 other peers and I plan to join the company upon graduation.
