Remarks
For the admission process, I used I have chosen the jee main for the admission process. For every branch, there is a certain cut-off percentage in the respective entrance mode exam. Students can also use intermediate marks to join the campus. The application form is available on the university website i.e, www.vegan.ac.in, and students can apply through the university site. Scholarships are also there for all the students based on their marks and rank in the entrance exam.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen the bachelor of technology in Computer science and engineering. I was very enthusiastic from my childhood to learn about the software side and app designing and all. I have chosen computer science and engineering to get good career growth. The faculty and student ratio was like 1:10 and the faculty were always available to clear the doubts and teaching methods to make easy understanding. The exams were also conducted after the completion of 1/3 rd of the syllabus and it was moderate to pass.
Internships Opportunities
The companies students placed offer the internship with a good stipend and the students who were not selected for the internships will be given the projects. the students who were in the internships are also getting a good number of projects.
Placement Experience
from the 6 th semester onwards students were eligible to take the placement and a good number of companies about 35+ companies visit every year and 1800 offers were made this year. the highest package was 15 LPA and the average package of students was 4lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure was financially affordable for middle-class students and scholarships were given to a number of students based on the merit and financial support also provided to the financially weak students. I had a merit scholarship of 25% and got placed incognizant, one of the reputed MNCs with a package of 4 LPA.
Campus Life
Life at the campus was very cool and we had a balancing life with co-curricular and extracurricular activities. we had a good number of sports facilities and 20 optional clubs to choose from our interest.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities and infrastrucutre were good and all the necessary things for a student are provided.the food was maintained with good quality and taste and the hostel rooms and food faciities were hygenic and clean.
