Things steadily undergo a lot of change with time the college has gained autonomous status,co-ed has come-potential courses are being introduced to suit times even now the college retains the image of one of the best colleges.

College entrance my love for the english literature course.

Though research was a bit far off trend in those years,definitely a motivation was there by creating an aptitude and feeling for literature and the great authors course structure overall was comprehensive,catering to our tastes and quest for knowledge two of the faculty were from american universities almost all of them are scholars one gentleman was a writer,a regular contributor to reputed journals one was a theater artist and director there was a cartoonist and another was an orator and so on overall a lively three years course in a vibrant campus.

Festivals were plenty all through the year sports and college day,hostel day,periodical visits of known poets,writers,cine actors,directors some of them are old students used to make the campus life more lovable entertaining and informative giving us a lot fun and exposure. One sad memorable event would be the candle light ceremony almost a passing out ceremony at the end of the course even now my tears well up to think of the day.

Loans were not in vogue i availed state education scholarship.

No co-education it was all men's college at that time though things have changed now campus life was more memorable lively- a blessing that one can ever forget i was in football,hockey and volleyball teams was in ncc, attended Campus competitions,cultural and literary kept us engaged.

Mostly shared hostel life even now would give one a sense of hostal rooms are spacious,furnished my room and the balcony especially was open to the vast college ground with good light and air it was quite panoramic food was excellent [mine was non-veg mess},fees was so nominal under sharing system with more active student council participation.

So good and active even now our batch is planning for a get-together after all this years we keep in touch with friends we meet quite often our seniors in those were superb more amenable and friendly.
