Remarks

I got 594 marks in NEET in my first attempt and that was enough to get a Government medical college in my state. I chose particularly this college due to it's high pace of development and a good locality. The hospital is developed as well. So after the state counselling we got are allotment letter and then waited for the admission processes to open. We went to vidisha and got really happy after seeing the facilities and infrastructure. As per the instructions we already got our documents ready which saved our time and increased the ease. Then we came back home and waited for the hostel allotment dates. It came in a month or so and then I moved to the room allotted. All the information is listed on the website of MPMSU for state quota people and NMC website for all india quota or over all. The fees is also compatible to the engineering colleges which completely breaks the norm that MBBS costs really high and a middle class person can't afford it. The reservation offers scholarships also

Course Curriculum Overview

Being a doctor it's your opportunity to save thousands of lives and seeing that proud in the eyes of your parents cannot be matched. This college is obviously not my dream college but after entering here it feels like a dream only. The infrastructure is really good and the faculties are really supportive. The faculty to student ratio is 1:30 for practicals and 1:180 for lectures, they intend to increase seats this year. All the faculties are highly qualified and devoted towards their work and really put interest in solving student issues. The teaching method is quiet practical based and the language used is listener friendly. So being from a completely non medico background I had no idea about the course and syllabus and how to pass the exams. But eventually it got very clear. The marks surely don't matter in MBBS but once you get fail, your entire year gets wasted, so getting pass is more important. Seniors guide very well in that case as they are more experienced. Following them works

Fees and Financial Aid

It is a government college and hence has fixed fees. At the time of admission 1lakh rupees are submitted as the college fee for the whole year. Besides this there was 12000 hostel fee, 5600 for co-curricular activities and separate mess fee. The students getting the benefit of scholarship don't have to pay college fee, but the other amounts are to ge given. The scholarship is mostly reservation based but there is a medhavi chhatra yojana in our state which allows poor but talented students, who got more than 85% in their boards to study free of cost in any college of M.P. but I couldn't get this benefit because our annual household income was a bit greater than their margins. Anyways, the students getting these benefits have to do an extra year of scholarship. The bonds are filed at the time of admission for rural service and if it's taken back then the penalty amount needs to be paid. But it is quiet low as compared to that of a private medical college, which charges around 10 lakh peryear

Campus Life

4.5

The fests occur in some particular periods of year so that they may not coincide with the exam dates of any batch. All the batches and faculties participate in it. There is a fully fledged library just on the side of college which contains all the subject related and other books. The classrooms are quiet large and contain two projectors and a green board as well. Our college has a group named pragyan which is helping poor students for their competitive exams.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The room given is well ventilated and quiet good. The beds, chairs, almirahs and tables are already given. Every room has its separate balcony. The corridor is quiet long and the common washrooms are very clean. There is a common space in the middle of every hostel which is oftenly used to play badminton or just for walking. The meal quality is also good and the charge is 2500 per month till now. Although we face some problems in monsoon but that's how life goes. The hostel is quiet affordable and is allotted at the time of admission only. The fees is 1000 per month.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Opting for MBBS is a good option. curriculum, as we all know, is too difficult but here in our college faculty members are very much helpful they tried to explain all the processes and all the structures to the practice so it became a Lil bit easy for learning and remembering. Faculties are specialized in their respective departments and have studied from good colleges like KGMU Lucknow AIIMSBhubaneswar, GMC Bhopal, nscb Jabalpur and many more.
