Remarks

I was allotted Bundelkhand Medical College, Sagar. I filled the counselling in the OBC category but college was allotted to me in the GEN category. The cutoff of this college for MBBS was 583 in 2020. The counselling was held online. After the allotment of college, we were said to come to the college for the admission procedure and fees submission.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose the MBBS course because it is a very reputed course, allow us to become doctors and serve the country. In the 2020 batch, there are 52 girls and 73 boys. The faculty are very intelligent. Every professor has a master degree and some are gold medalists too. Exams are held after every unit completion. Checking is very strict. It's quite difficult to pass the exam as only 1/4th of students pass the exam every time.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

In every government medical college, there is a 100 Percent internship and placement provided. After completion of 4.5 years of this course, we are allowed for the internship provided by the college itself.

Placement Experience

4

In the 5th year of the MBBS course, students are allowed for an internship of one year. There is 100 Percent placement. We are paid 55,000 at the time of the internship. It is compulsory to do the internship. Also, the students who applied for scholarships have 1 extra year of the bond to serve in rural areas (rural bond).

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of a government college in Madhya Pradesh is not very high. I am paying 1.14lakh in the first year excluding hostel fees and mess fees. MP government gives scholarships ( post metric and medhavi chatra yojna ) in which 1 lakh is paid by govt and we have to pay only 14 thousand and hostel and mess fees.

Campus Life

4

We have a gym in our college. We have a fest organization. We have football matches and cricket matches organised as inter batch competitions. In the library, there are collections of many books. Sufficient for the whole college.

I have an urge to provide free treatment to poor people. The total strength of the college is nearly 1000 and the faculty are nearly 50. The faculty are professors and teaching levels are very high. The exams are conducted yearly once and the difficulty level of the paper is easy to moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a doctor it's your opportunity to save thousands of lives and seeing that proud in the eyes of your parents cannot be matched. This college is obviously not my dream college but after entering here it feels like a dream only. The infrastructure is really good and the faculties are really supportive. The faculty to student ratio is 1:30 for practicals and 1:180 for lectures, they intend to increase seats this year. All the faculties are highly qualified and devoted towards their work and really put interest in solving student issues. The teaching method is quiet practical based and the language used is listener friendly. So being from a completely non medico background I had no idea about the course and syllabus and how to pass the exams. But eventually it got very clear. The marks surely don't matter in MBBS but once you get fail, your entire year gets wasted, so getting pass is more important. Seniors guide very well in that case as they are more experienced. Following them works

Course Curriculum Overview:

Opting for MBBS is a good option. curriculum, as we all know, is too difficult but here in our college faculty members are very much helpful they tried to explain all the processes and all the structures to the practice so it became a Lil bit easy for learning and remembering. Faculties are specialized in their respective departments and have studied from good colleges like KGMU Lucknow AIIMSBhubaneswar, GMC Bhopal, nscb Jabalpur and many more.
