International Institute of Hotel Management Pune famously known as IIHM Pune is part of the IIHM chain and is among the most popular college for a hotel management course. The admission process of the college is very simple we have to submit the admission form from the official website of the college by paying and amount of 600 and even we can visit the campus for submitting the form. I cleared my E-CHAT test and I was called for PI round. The brand ambassador of the college is non-other than Chef Ranveer Brar.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college curriculum is the proper mix of theoretical and practical knowledge but frankly speaking, the college mostly focuses on practical learning. The brand ambassador of our college is one of the popular Chef Ranveer Brar and special classes are held by him to teach us the method of cooking and hospitality. The college faculty is also highly experienced and full of knowledge. The faculty of the college have very good industrial experience. The faculty is the one that keeps us updated with the latest industrial developments.
Internships Opportunities
The college has very good industrial exposure and we get very good opportunities to work as an intern in the best hotels of India and abroad. The college has a 100% internship record which is very good but the stipend that we receive is quite low but the learning experience is very high.
Placement Experience
The college has a record of 100% placement. The college also has international placements. Emirates, Hyatt, JW Marriott Group, Inter-Continental Hotel Group, Novotel Hotels, Park Plaza, Radisson, Ramada, Oberoi Hotel, Ista Hotel, Kingfisher, Taj Group of Hotels, The Hilton are among the top recruiters of the college. The highest placement offer of the college is around 9 LPA and the average salary offer is approx 4.50 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college also provides scholarships on a merit basis the scholarship is based on the performance on the 12th board. Rebate of 25000 and 45000 is given to those who have scored more than 85% and 95% respectively.
Campus Life
The college campus life is something that every hotel management aspirant should experience. The college organises many functions like modelling contests, debate, quizzes competitions, and many sports activities are also organised. The college also organises one of the world biggest Culinary Heats Young Chef Olympiad in which more than 50 countries participate and demonstrate their hospitality and cooking skills. The college also organises National Skill Development Corporation to provide skills to the youngster in the hospitality industry. The college classrooms and hall are very nicely designed and maintained. The college library has a good number of books. The college also has a WiFi facility on the campus.
