Course Curriculum Overview
The course pretty to the point.Basic 4 subjects i.e. Food Production, Food and Beverage Service, Front Office and Accomodation Operations are accompanied with key subjects like Digital Marketing, Human Resource Management, Hotel Laws, Accounts etc. IIHM gives students a broad view towards the course.A lot of different choice of career and vast open vision for Entrepreneurship.
Internships Opportunities
I have had done an internship for 6 months as a part of my degree programme in Year 2 at JW MARRIOTT, PUNE, SB road. The experience was quite wonderful. No big money comes easy, Efforts and hardwork must work hand in hand with patience to achieve the goal we want. And fulfill the vision we have.
Placement Experience
IIHM provides students with 100/- placements. We have brands like the Oberoi which come to recruitment to Pune only for IIHM. We have the Taj groups, Marriott group, Hilton group, and many more biggies in the college.
College Events
Campus life is the best 3 years spent of mines. Friends, knowledge, Work everything goes hand in hand. Yes we do celebrate every festival here with joy. IIHM conducts India's biggest food competition YCO - THE YOUNG CHEF OLYMPIAD. It gives a chance for aspiring chefs to showcase their talent to the world as 40 countries participate in this competition. IIHM is a dream for aspiring students.
Campus Life
IIHM, Pune has a good campus with college library accessable to varieties of books. The infrastructure is quite good to say. Hotel Kitchen and Restaurants are best to class. The classrooms are air conditioned.It lab has got really cool advancements. We also have a 24/7 working wifi.
