As my personal opinion goes, I find the college above average in all the aspects, be it academics, faculty, campus, food, accommodation, placements and extra-curricular activities. There is always a healthy environment as all the students stay together as a big family and our bonds lasts a lifetime.

There are 2 major events that take place every year in the college -ORION BAR CODE Both these events are 3 day long and attracts lot of colleges in Pune as well as form various cities Numerous competitions are held - marketing, cultural, sports, musical etc. Everything from scratch about these events is organised by the students and it is a lot of fun in doing so. It keeps getting bigger and better every year

Fees are feasible and much more affordable than other similar top MBA colleges. The ROI is 250%. Fees range from 7-12 lakhs for 2 years depending on eligibility criteria. 90 % is reserved for Defense personnel and their dependents. The rest 10% are civilians or industry sponsored candidates.

Being a Defense Institute, you expect a discipline and sound environment in and around the college. Campus life is good balance of work and play as there is ample time with students to pursue their hobbies in sports and recreation.There is a fully equipped Gymnasium and Swimming Pool. There is a Basketball court and badminton courts as well.Table tennis is also available under every hostel for the students. Also, football, cricket and volleyball goods are available for students and can be played at the nearby grounds.

HOSTEL - The hostels are neat and clean.2 boys hostels and 2 girls hostel3-4 students in each roomHostels have all the necessary amenities Ample parking space available under each hostel building MESS -The mess food is alright. Not great but not bad either. For the price at which the college is providing is way better than other mess food in Pune. There is a lot of variety every week and Non Veg is also provided twice a week. Snacks are also provided in the evenings. No complaints whatsoever as far as the food is concerned compared to the price we pay.

Alumni Network is Strong in SIMS for obvious reasons as defense people are a majority and our contacts go a long distance and convert to fruitful relationships life long. A number of SIMS alumni are at working at top MNCs around the globe as well as have successful startups.

Lot of exams are conducted in SIMS on a regular basis so that students study their subjects on a daily basis.Apart from exams there a weekly assignments and presentations that keep the students busy. Computer Lab and the Library is very useful and informative.

Faculty is really knowledgeable having many years of experience in SIMS. There is a good mix of permanent and visiting faculty which makes learning effective and fun. A lot of industry experienced teachers come to SIMS for guest lectures and workshops almost every week which gives the opportunity to students to gain practical industry knowledge and understanding
