30:1 is the student-faculty ratio, teaching method of my batch is online due to Covid but still, the teaching method shows professionalism and very well planned syllabus of 2 years of MBA at SP JAIN, Exams were moderate to pass and faculty is well versed with the subject they teach

Placements season starts from 2nd year, various companies visit campus and offer varied profile roles. The package starts from 10 lacs and goes on till 20 depending on the company. 100% students are placed every year, companies like JP MORGAN, ITC, HUL, etc visit campus

Placement Experience:

The average Lpa of the college is 9 lpa so it is good. Marketing gets 100% placement as compared to other streams. There is booth on campus and off campus placement. And the placement cells bring good companies and there are chances of PPO also.

Placement Experience:

After completimg 2sem students are eligible for campus placements. Mock GD and interviews are conducted in 2 sem whivh will be assessed and will affect the overall SGPA. There are multiple companies like JLL, CBRE, Turner and Townsend, AWFIS, C&W, SPCL,GR Infra, GMR, Rider Levett Bucknail, Godrej, ICICI Bank, JWIL, Knight Frank, Savills, Vishwaraj etc. Around 98% of the students were placed from the campus interview. Profiles were for project management. Highest package was 28 LPA by Rider Levett Bucknail.

IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Placement Experience:

After completion of first year and Summer Internship, placement season begins in September. Some students opt for taking up Pre-Placement Offer from their Sip organization. There are various companies that regularly visit the campus like CRISIL, Arcesium, Wipro, Infosys, HCL. Then there are others that frequently visit like EY, KPMG, Dabur, Blue Star, Pernod Ricard, Shaadi.com, Reliance, Capgemini, Cognizant. A total of 220+ offers have been made so far and the placement season is still in full swing. Highest package is at 36 lacs, whereas the average is around 8-9 lacs. Around 75% of students are already placed and the others are appearing for the interview process. The placement season is still ongoing. My personal plan is to take the Final Placement offer that I have received from the Institute and then contribute to the best of my ability to the organisation. I want to thrive in the field of Sales and Marketing before and right now i have the perfect opportunity in my hands.

From the 4th semester, students are eligible for placements. BCG, Bane & Co., Morgan Stanley, P&G, etc. visit campus for placements. The average package goes up to 9 LPA, the highest went for around 16 LPA. No. of companies visit campus is more than 100.

Very NICE College For MBA in Pune

Remarks:

The main attraction of the college is the availability of placements and job opportunities for the students. Also things like corporate talks, summer Internship, workshops, social initiatives, sports events and the presence of a big and wide library and IT Lab makes our college more accessible for the students. I have never experienced any bad thing about my college till now.

Admission:

I had applied for B-schools based on their rankings, so top 10-12. SPJIMR is one of them. There was no quota here and the application was purely merit and CAT score based. There were two ways of getting calls for interviews – profile-based (Exceptional all-around profile) and the usual CAT score based. Though in all cases the min criteria were 85%tile overall and 75%tile in each QA, LRDI, VARC for the call to be valid. SPJIMR- One of the educational gems of India.

The institute accepts scores of CAT and GMAT. The sectional cutoff for both the exams is around 75%ile as well as the overall cutoff is 85%ile. Students also need to apply to Institute specific, the registration of which begins in September itself. It is advised to regularly check for the application window. I preferred this very institute due to its supreme aspects which includes excellent pedagogy, faculty and great placements. It also has its location advantage.
