Remarks

Highly qualified faculties having sound research profiles. Only such reputed college in the northern most geographical area, there's stipend of 12,400 that facilitates the financial balance. The good weather and the exotic environment makes the journey most fascinating.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is strongly based on the trending research and innovation terms along with the contemporary industrial standards. Faculties are mostly the IITn based PhD passouts who have enough gist of the subjects.

Placement and training department is crucially playing a vital role in catering the intership maps to the students both online as well as offline opportunities. Placements as mentioned earlier, are mostly in IT sector with nearly 6LPA as an avg package.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There's stipend of around 12000 per months that makes the student financially independent. Along with this, there are good campus Placements, mostly in IT sector. However, there are timely offers from the core companies as well.

Campus Life

I don't think, there's any other batter place across India to have such a versatile and exotic environment to live in. Lying on the banks of World famous Dal Lake, on the way to the historic Mughal gardens and beside the Famous Hazratbal shrine.

Hostel Facilities

There's limited accomodation available in the hostel. However, for the outstation students, the hostel facilities are eventually made possible. There are good recreation facilities available in the hostel.

Admission

It's only Gate exam, u have to face. The score is nearly around cutoff marks. Thus, one has not to worry about the admission particularly the baranch I am manifesting here.

MY COLLEGE EXPERIENCE: A COMPLETE REVIEW OF DOGRA COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course includes subjects that are beneficial for me. For example: Gender and Society – teaches me about society’s orthodox traditions and norms. Indian Knowledge System – explains how India’s knowledge has evolved over time. Literature – provides an overview of English literature, excluding stories and poems, and focuses only on the parts that are useful for us. Environmental Studies – gives knowledge about our surroundings, including living and non-living things. Political Science – a systematic study of the structure and behavior of the state and political institutions. Logical Reasoning – the best part of the course, very useful for our knowledge as well as civil services and defense exams. Law and Society – will help me in my further studies in law. Personally, the two specific subjects that made me choose this course were Law and Society and Logical Reasoning, because these subjects are rarely available elsewhere and will be very beneficial for me. The teachers are good at teaching, but there is a need to make changes in the teaching methods. As of now, there are only blackboards or whiteboards, whereas instead there should be smart panels, which would make learning more interactive and keep students engaged. Exams are held about two months after the semester begins — first internals and then externals. There is generally a two-month gap between the two. I believe the difficulty level depends on how deeply we understand the concepts and how well we prepare, although overall the difficulty is usually easy to moderate.

The life of student at NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

The college placemts is good the average is areound 10lakh per annum , the comapnies that visit for placements and internships are VISA , MICROSOFT, PAYPAL, GOLDMANSACCHS, NVIDIA, CISCO, WIPRO , L&T , PHYSICS WALLAH, INCREFF , other startups etc. My plan is to crack on-campus placement from a good company.
