UEM IS DEFINITELY A GOOD COLLEGE ,I GOT IT THROUGH WBJEE MARKS AND I HAD A GOOD SCORE IN 10TH AND 12TH.THE INTERVIEW PROCESS WAS QUITE GOOD ENOUGH.IT SHOULD I FEEL BELONG TO PREMIER INSTITUTE OF WEST BENGAL AS WELL SHOULD ACHIEVE A GOOD RANKING IN FUTURE.RATHER THAN GOING FOR WORSE GOVERNMENT JOBS,UEM IS A LOT BETTER

EVERY SEMESTER EXAMS ARE CONDUCTED ON DUE TIME AND THEY DOES NOT KEEP STUDENTS WAITING.THE MANAGEMENT IS VERY PROGRESSIVE AND FAST ENOUGH TO RESPOND TO PROBLEMS.WE HAVE 2 INTERNALS IN A SEMESTER.EXAMS ARE QUITE MATURE AND ACCURATE.

THERE ARE FESTS IN COLLEGE WHICH IS NOT LIKE SOME PREMIER INSTITUTIONS FOR SURE, WE DON'T HAVE OUR OWN PLAYGROUND, WE PLAY IN THE BASEMENT BUT THERE IS A WIDE AMOUNT OF GAMES IN THE BASEMENT. WE HAVE OUR URECKON AS OUR OFFICIAL TECHFEST AND MANY OTHERS TO FOLLOW.

Placement Experience:

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from 7 and 8 semester also their are many placement on thee intern companies. thier are total of 50 t0 60 companies that visits year which leads to very good placement percentage, in mining its above 90 percent. companies which come are infosys, microsoft, google , coal india, tcs, pwc etc. the higest pacage was 39 lacs by coal india. as mentioned above the placement is very good and almost everybranch placement is between 79 to 95 percentage of student which are placed, their are many mass recruiter if you didnt get the best pacakge you still have the chance to get a good package from the mass recruiter. my plan after degree is to advance in computer science even if i dont have the branch but i have the passion to do coding and become a web developer also i will try to get some more degree like mba and mtech and i will also try if i get selection to study abroad.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

If you want to join ths college you have give IEMJEE (their own admission exam) or through WBJEE Exam. But don't worry pal half of it's admission is done by management quota and rest of the seat is seal by external broker.
