Remarks

Well, I also enquired the admission criteria for my stream of mechanical engineering in other colleges around ponnamalle like Panimalar Engineering college, RMK Engineering College, Rajalakshmi engineering college, I chose SA Engineering college as it was easy to commute and the criteria set for my program was only 130% cutoff where I have secured around 135%. So I decided to go with this college as it also provided means of transport. To be specifically appreciated the admission process was a cakewalk and well organized as I had all the required documents.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

As my aim is to become a design engineer and this college had a well-equipped laboratory and good placement resources and results I decided to move into this college to pursue my ambition. The minimum qualification of a teaching faculty here in SA Engineering College is set to be PG Graduation. And the management is handling a well-versed recruitment process in recruiting the staff. The faculty-student ratio is 1:20 where the campus hosts a friendly environment between faculty and student. As part of teaching and conducting exams, the faculty here update the students with the regular set of lecture notes as well as model papers for assessment. Each semester has 3 sets of Unit tests of 25 marks and Internal assessments of 50 marks.

Internships Opportunities

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement faculty of SA Engineering college have a good relationship with recruitment officers all over the industry of their respective departments. Generally students all eligible for placement offers from their 7th semester. Nearly 45% of students get placed each year from this college in their respective industries.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fees hike in SA Engineering College instead the yearly fees to be paid by us will be decremented year by year as we move forward to our completion of the degree. For instance, I had to pay 96,000 including transportation fees in my first year which was gradually decremented to 66000 including my transportation fees. As there is a good relationship with the placement faculty here at the college and the industry recruitment officers getting placed is not tough task here at SA Engineering college.

Campus Life

4.5

S.A.ENGINEERING COLLEGE hosts a vast variety of festivals and tech meets where more than 100+ colleges participate and exhibit their skills. This college has a separate library for each department where a vast range of books from local authors to foreign authors and also has a common library where we can access the Internet, journals, magazines etc...Classrooms are well equipped with projector and computer for each individual classroom. Talking about sports and extra curricular activities SA Engineering college always back up good sports persons who are willing to show their proficiency in whichever respective sport they want.
