Entrance Preview

It's one of the best college for clinical nutrition and Dietetics. I dint take any entrance and I scored 80℅ in my under graduation . It was an walk-in interview for people who got shortlisted and then fees payment ensures admission .

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is very advanced and knowledgeable . It also helps in research work as it has a mini thesis that is supposed to be done . Electives can be taken apart from the subject you study .As in if you are doing a nutrition course you can take an HR or management subject .

Internships Opportunities

No the college doesn't provide internship .But students can do their internship outside if they wish to .College provides certain period of time as in 1-2 months so that they can experience the different patient profiles and the real life application of the theoretical knowledge imparted during the course.

Placement Experience

3

Companies like HUL and nescafe came with good offers ranging from 3-5 lakhs / annum .Their are a lot of other industries that come in for the campus recruitment but no hospitals come in . So if you wish to get an job in a hospital then you will have to apply by your own. But for people seeking industries there is a good opportunity .

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes the fee structure is pretty expensive . When compared to other college in Bangalore that offers this course , mcc charges around 90,000 where as the other college charges 10,000-15,000 . So it is little expensive on the pockets and not everybody can afford it.

Fees and Financial Aid

Their are a lot of scholarships for people who come under categories and some of the scholarships are for the people who have high merits.

Exam Structure

Yes the exams and labs are pretty hectic , and are very regular .Apart from internals there are a lot of class tests and ofcourse the end semester exams makes it a little hectic . The labs are almost 4-5 times a week with 3-4 hours per day making it a little hectic for students.

Faculty

3.5

Standards of teaching faculty is great and they are highly qualified .some of them are PHD and most of them are dieticians with years of experience in both hospitals and teaching .the faculty tries to make everything very interesting by giving assignments , projects , ppt and field visits so everybody understands the concept clearly and is interested in the subject.

Admission is on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the university. I filled two separate forms for two different subjects and appeared for two separate entrance tests. Students are called for counselling based on their test scores.
