For Direct Second Year (D.S.Y) a student must have completed a diploma with a recognised university/board with NO A.T.K.T or live backlogs. The minimum criteria for D.S Y are of minimum 60%. The Admission process is all through the online registration itself which are known as the Centralised Admission Process (C.A.P) round. After the completion of the C.A.P round, one can also apply for admission at Institute Level. All the students are requested to provide the original documents for verification purposes. Attested Documents will not be considered a true copies.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Highly Qualified Professionals are been providing their service for teaching purposes. Also, they share their experience of having great marks throughout their engineering career. All the staff have completed M.E/M.Tech in their respective field. Most of them also have/are pursued/pursuing PhD. from topmost Universities. None of the staff is less than at least 3 years of teaching experience. The Class test (C.T) is conducted after conducting every Unit. Viva is taken after the completion of each of the chapters. Simultaneously submission of assignments and practical journals are also needed to be submitted on time. Mid-term Exams are held before the final University examination. Practical Oral Exam (P.O.E) is held before the university examination which is examined by an external examiner. A student has to clear all the mentioned examinations to appear for the final University examination.

Internships Opportunities

5

Right from the 2nd year itself, one can start applying for the internship. Many times the students may also get paid internships depending upon the student's interview. E-construct is one of the companies which gave a paid internship for 6 months. Mini Project is required in 3rd year engineer as it will be a base for a major project for Final Year. Teaching as well as non-teaching staff also help with the project work. None of the teachers hesitates to help with the project work. You can easily communicate with any teacher from any branch for your help with the project work.

Placement Experience

5

Looking towards a career a student is eligible to apply for campus placement is from 3rd year's second semester or also known as the even semester of 3rd year. A student is eligible to apply only if he/she fits into the requirement of the company. Moreover talking about placement cell it is really the best one I would like to say because from 2 years itself the students are provided with internships and are also given extra curriculum activities for developing interpersonal skills. Talking about my department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering till now the placement% is 50 and is about get 100 by the end of 2022. Other departments also have a very good Placement %. The average package offered here is of minimum 4LPA and a maximum of upto 15+LPA. The companies in which I and my friends got placement are:- Infosys, EVOSYS, Apisero, Byjus, Atos, etc. with related to all their respective branches and job profile.

Fees and Financial Aid

The students who get admission via the C.A.P round are eligible for all the scholarships. MAHADBT is the portal where one can apply for the required scholarship. The website for it is www mahadbt.gov.in Hostel scholarship is also provided under the rules and regulations of College hostels. Fess structure depends upon the caste category of the students. For open/general category students the fees are 115000. For OBC category students 80000. SC/ST/other 10000. (Note- Amount of Fees may change/differ). For all the students the institute has provided the facility of making payment of fees in 2 installments. T.F.W.S seats are also available. During summer/winter vacation the students are provided with an internship (online/offline). As a pre-final year student I got internship and while pursuing last year I got placed in a MNC.

Campus Life

5

Huge Infrastructure with all modern facilities within the campus itself. The facilities included lift, purified drinking water, separate washrooms for staff as well as students on each of the floor, special common rooms for girls, availability of stationary on the ground floor, separate laboratories for each of the department, sports room and mainly the canteen facility. College fest includes Technical Paper Presentation, Quiz competition, Project exhibition, Lan gaming, etc. Cultural activities are also held such as Dance competition, Singing competition, Act/Drama, cooking competition, fun and fare, Fresher's Party, Farewell party, etc. Sports activities include Cricket, Volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho, Tabel tennis, football, chess, carrom, etc. College also has its nature club and also runs NSS. During the NSS field survey, the students are taken on a short trip to a nearby place. Apart from this the college also conducts field visits to different states and different companies.

Hostel Facilities

5

The meal in the canteen is good enough as per a students requirement. No non vegetarian dishes are cooked or allowed inside the canteen premises. Only vegetarian dishes are available with good quality and quantity. Consumption of Alcohol, Tobacco and smoking is strictly prohibited on the entire college campus. Ragging is strictly prohibited. If any student is found practising any such kind of misbehaviour strict actions are taken against him/her. One can easily register for a hostel facility during the admission process itself. If any of the students want to rent a room or PG that facility is available in the township which is 1-2 KM away from the college where students can even join the college bus facility. The fare for PG or Rent totally depends upon the owner and not the Institute but the fare ranges are actually affordable. I opted for a college hostel because moreover, the risk of things getting theft is very less and also free wifi service is available in a hostel with 24/7 availability of water.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this college is under mumbai university so this college cannot modify syallbus in their own the have to strictly follow the university prescribe syallbus, academic timelines, rules and norms of the mumbai university. I have taken the admission in this college in the year 2024 from this year the NEP-2020 was adopted by the every indian universities and instituites. Since NEP-2020 was adopted also by mumbai university some new subjects are added to the syallabus that are oriented to financial literacy,Entreprenuianl, indian laws related subjects the syallubus of this subject is very good to see in the syallabus pdf. But the ground reality is different this subject is not given much importance by faculties the are treated as not much important subject as their are not related to our course as a result the students also take these subjects lightly. Also the professors appointed for this subjects are not much good they appoint the faculties who are recent graduates of their college who are working now as a professor in the same college. The college treat this subject lectures as an practice for the fresh faculties to gain experience of how to teach students. The core subject syallbus is same not changed the mumbai university has just changed the name of the subject. The college professors just teach the subject but they do not teach in that way that it makes us ready for real world problems. And also in the first year all the subjects are common for all the branches of the engineering which consist of subject like physics, chemistry, mechanics,Basic electrical Electronics,Engineering Graphics. It is my opinion why should an student who is studying an course called Computer Engineering so why should i read the subjects of the other branches like civil, mechanical, electrical and electronics in my first year instead of my domain subjects for whole two semester and the timespan of almost an year

Placement Experience:

The placements offered by my college are outstanding compared to other colleges in my area. Almost all students become eligible for campus placements in the 7th semester. Big tech companies like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and IBM visit the campus for recruitment. Major tech companies such as TCS, Infosys, and Capgemini hire in bulk from this college. Other non-tech companies like JCB, Tata Hitachi, and railway companies also visit the campus for core branches. Approximately 90% of students get placed in this college according to their skills. My plan after completing my degree is to get a job in a top company like Google, Microsoft, IBM, or NVIDIA and settle abroad with a luxurious life permanently.
