Remarks

I applied to SPM college for B.com. The first thing we had to do was to check the cutoff then accordingly we had to go to college. There they will again check our percentage that was 88% at my time and if it's matching the cutoff they will send us for further process. After that, we have to fill the form and submit our documents. And after that, it's all done. We can join the college. On the very first day, they will allocate us our section.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course according to the field I want to pursue. Faculty members of SPM college are well educated mostly were Ph.D.'s. It was a 3-year program and I completed my graduation in this time period without any difficulties. As in SPM teacher provide notes which are very very useful and helped us in exams. Also, the internals in SPM is very helpful as most of the courses are covered in the internal.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I did a Social marketing internship at RAY-right action for youth without any stipend. We have to promote the company and make the people aware of them. Like reposting their posts, getting followers on their multiple social media accounts like on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter.

Placement Experience

3.5

After second-year students are eligible for placements. IT/BPO companies visited at my time like Genpact. They hire around 8-9 people from the campus. After getting a degree I gave some entrance exams and did some courses.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was no such fees hike at that time. I cleared a job process at Genpact for voice and accounting with the highest score but I didn't join. Because I wanted to do further studies. Also, the interview process is very simple and easy.

Campus Life

4

Life at the SPM is good. For the first year, ut was tough but after that it was wonderful. There are many clubs in SPM, they organize events like fest, annual day, etc. Also some monthly interactions and activities. Students can have books and journals from the library if they have library cards. In SPM you can participate in multiple sports activities like hockey, races, etc. Along with sports Students can join the dance and other activites too.

My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Remarks:

The infrastructure is a bit old. It needs to be renovated for the students to study in a peaceful and happy atmosphere. Overall the college is good and is rated B by NAAC. There should also be cameras for each class to keep a check on the students.
