Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum was very relevant as per my course. There are subjects like child development, language aquisition and and other basic subject that one should know if they are planning to teach elementary students. There were practice sessions in which they make us learn how to deliever the classes.

Internships Opportunities

5

I was provided with an internship in govt schools for 6 monts teaching class 3rd and class 8 Also i had completed two projects that would also count to my research progress as they were related to the course and relevant with the curriculum. the college will provide you with guidelines for internship and gave ample support throughout your journey.

Placement Experience

4

The college provide us with Placements in the lasst year of course. different schools visit the campus and select students as per there ability and requirements. There was an active placement cell for each course that work online and offline both to get students opportunities to work.

Fees and Financial Aid

Annual fees for B.El.Ed in SPMC is 20k- 25k Approx. The overall course will cost you around 1lac. There is relaxation provided for SC and ST students along with schlorarships to OBC students as well. There is no relaxation given to EWS students in monetary terms.

Campus Life

5

There is a Fest called SRIJAN the annual fest that was organised every year. Along with that diwali fest and many other functions held in campus that one can enjoy and take part. There were societies and clubs for various activities like dance and drama in which one can enraoll themselves through auditions. There college sports week aand annual sport day in which student and teachers participate On annual fest and annual sports day students get free refreshment coupons to eat and enjoy.

Admission

I choose this college because that was the most nearest from my house and the best that i can get admitted to. The fee stucture was very good. Also the overall ratings and reviews were all good about this college that i have checked. I got admission in the first list of allotment so i never went for any other college for admission.

Faculty

4

There is 65:1 ratio for my course but for other courses it would be less. There are 2 teachers available for 1 subject so there is no hassle situation. They also have tutorial classes of student to interact with teachers in small groups. The exams were annual based for B.El.Ed One can only reappear for exam if they fail in one subject. Otherwise students have to repeat the year if they fail in more than one subject Also there is no rechecking of paper, only re evaluation is considered and for that you have to pay some amount to them.

Night Life

4

The college will close around 5pm and there is no hostel in college so no one caan experience a nghtlife in college. The one who lives in nearby Pgs can definitely enjoy nightlife as there is club road nearby there are many cafes to hangout.

Placement Experience:

Only after completing fourth final year, students will be eligible for campus placements. Generally different-diffrent private, elementary level, international schools come for placements. On average starting salaries which my seniors got was around 25k to 30k per month. The highest salary you expect 45k to 50k in some international schools. Students who gets highest placement are not only just toppers in theory exam but they have develop a personality as well. Most of students prefer higher education before placements. A very small number of students sit or apply for placements so the students who apply have high chances to get selected. The placement percentage rate and chances to get placement is high for this reason. I will also prefer my future studies. I can't do b.ed after b.el.ed but I will do masters in economics which is also my libral option in my b.le.ed. students have to choose one subject in which they want to bachelors degree because it is a integrated course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to be a teacher so I opted for this program. The student-teacher ratio is 10:1 which is quite good. SCERT is one of the top colleges for B.Ed. it has well-qualified and trained teaching faculty. They use ict infused classroom pedagogy. The semester system for examination and difficulty level of exam is in average it is moreover application based.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Their exam and syllabus are very easy and low-level for any type of student. But all type of study is required in all placement. But the time period of the exam is less than to compare the syllabus and exam pattern. The faculty has been great here in our college, they are qualified and very cooperative.

Placement Experience:

There is no such provision for placement. Students have to clear CTET after clearing B.Ed. exam in order to get a job. They can only give a reference. One has to qualify B.Ed. with good marks and then qualify CTET or TET in order to get a job. Right now, I have given my first semester exams and during this course, I will appear in CTET.

There is no alumni network created or followed by the college. There is also no interaction with the alumnus of the college. Nor the alumni doesn't contribute in the overall development of the college or students. Present students will feel better if one such alumni network is followed to guide them in taking proper decisions.
