Remarks

To get admission in AIM you have to clear MAT with good marks, on your MAT score you will be called for group discussion. The selected students from GD will be filtered out for a personal interview. Overall the process is as per IIM standard.

Course Curriculum Overview

I took the course because as an entrepreneur I was interested in learning about business management after my graduation. Teachers are well qualified with all having mandatory Ph.D. degrees in respective subjects. If you study, you can easily pass the exams.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 205000 per year

Placement Experience

Earlier the percentage was good. But we the students of our batch are highly unsatisfied, maybe due to covid, things are against us. Still, to the last month of our college, almost half of the students are unplaced. After my degree, I have to search for jobs on my own or else do a business if I don't get any job.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are complete as per the jurisdiction of the management of the college. In my time we paid around 4 lakhs 10 thousand for the course in 2 years. In terms of scholarship, if you are eligible for a minority scholarship then you can apply for that. The college should be more responsible towards it.

Campus Life

There will be freshers and we have conducted cyclathon fest in our times. A cycle rally. The library is good with a good amount of books. It depends on you. How you utilize it. Sports: We have a common room where you have sports like table tennis and carrom on the campus. Rest other games are in process. Fields are not ready for use.

Interview Experience

GD topic - demonetization. Merits & Demerits. You will be given 10mins in GD and during that it depends on you how you impress the in charge. After that, you will be selected for PI. It will be taken one to one. And on that basis, it will be decided whether you will be selected or not.

The curriculum that are done are not for MBA students like drawing dance competition they are not meant for us these things will never prepare ourselves for real world applications Instead they can do gk competition business plan debates etc Exam time table is to be rectified

Overall experience was good.

Likes

Campus environment with lot of greenery and with beautiful ponds in the campus .
Hostel was too big with all the facilities.
Department was too big with good teaching staffs

Dislikes

Hostel foods and bad hygienic and no floor mens to clean the rooms

Placement Experience:

The placement at college was good. The maximum package offered was 12.5 by Federal Bank and the mimimum was 2.5 by ICIC bank. The average package was 5.5. I got a placement offer from Collegedunia and I am very happy to got placed.

A look at TU for MBA program

Admission:

Once I applied to TU with my MAT score I was asked to come to the university for the GD and PI round. My GD round went for 15 minutes and we were given the topic about GST. In my PI round questions were asked about all my background activities besides academics, my reasons for choosing this course etc. Various mock interviews online helped me a lot while preparing for this round.

LIFE at TU

Remarks:

The MBA admissions are merit based. The basic eligibility was graduation with 50% marks and a CAT score. TU also conducted an interview and a counselling session once I was shortlisted. TU is a central university under the government, so they offer quality education for very less fees. This was the major reason for joining TU.

Placement Experience:

From the second year, our campus placements had begun some of the companies are as follows. ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, SBI Life Insurance, Asian Paints, Federal Bank, HDFC AMC, Vishal Mega Mart, etc. The highest package was around 7.5 lakh and the average was around 3 4 lakh. Only 3 or 5 students didn't get placed and some opted out for placements to pursue their entrepreneur journey.

Placement Experience:

Placements start from the 3rd semester, Companies like Amazon, Baja fin, Bandhan, Axis, ICICI etc are prime recruiters. Sometimes university organizes placement events with other universities jointly. I have not completed my course so I cant share my own placement experience.
